- kirsten| 1 replysays they are auditing for the IRS and that I owe money. Asked them to mail me the information and they hung up.
- virginiaeverytime this number calls they do not leave a message, finally answered phone and some girl talking in the background and a guy talking saying from the IRS...pretty sure they are scammers
- RobertJust got a call from them saying we owe taxes from 2008-2013 and not responding their mails, I told him I'll call back and I came here first, I guess no need to call back anymore.
- JimJust called home and the wife states we got the call. A lady with heavy Indian accent stated my name and stated that I owed taxes from 2008-2012. My wife called our accountant and she has informed us to call the FBI. I am not sure that will get anything done so just posted here. BTW... Not sure if it is relevant but we live in Tennessee.
- sally replies to kirstenThis is a SCAM!! First off I had to listen to the message 3xs to understand the heavy accent. I then called them back several times and received many different people. They tried to scare me with how much I owe and they are going and I quote " sue me all the way to the courthouse!" LOL when I called them back I lectured them all that they are thieves and how dare they call me and do this and told them to go get a real job like I have and work as hard as I do everyday! One gal actually started yelling at me she does have job this one!! LOL also told everyone talked to they need get down on their hands and knees and beg God to forgive them for this. Of course I probably wasting my breath but after calling them all those times my calls were sent to voicemails and I left lonnnng messages on how horrible they are etc etc I have the gift of gab!! Needless say they haven't called me back!! Hopefully they don't know where I live!! Also if they are the IRS they wouldn't be working today being Veteran's Day but they were hard at work trying to steal our money!!
- Jessy| 1 replygot a call with a voice mail with a very heavy foreign accent , stating my name and claiming they are from the irs and I misfiled my taxes for the years 2008-2012. First off I was a minor until 2011 and only worked a seasonal job . So I know for a fact they were filed correctly. They threatened to call my bank and my current employer to garnish my wages. I'm only 21 and barely make enough to even feed myself as it is. It creeped me out even though I thought something was off about it. I wish these thieves could be put to a stop.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. - SarahThey called me twice yesterday, and three times this morning. I don't usually answer the call if I don't know the number. So I looked it up on here, and now I'm definitely not answering the call.
