I received two calls from this number. I could hardly understand the man but he said he was calling about a credit card number ------. I know longer own any cards and told him so but he rattled on and on. I told him he was calling a business and I wasn't allowed to receive personal calls. The first time he said ok and hung up. The second time he kept arguing with me that the card was in my name. I told him I didn't know when it was used last because I had cut up all my cards. He finally hung up on me.

Repeated phone calls, unsolicited, credit card scam.  Return call unable to contact, business phone, appears to be unaathorized and possible interstate commerce criminal case.

I have gotten calls for two days from this number.  A woman actually tried to talk; broken english and something about trying to issue VISA gift cards.  I hung up on her.  She mentioned "ending" credit card number but it had a letter in it.  I am calling VISA to report this.

Be careful, this could be a version of the automatic debit scam as described by the FTC here http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel06.shtm  The offered card is free but you have to pay for shipping. The scammers will want your credit/debt card to charge for shipping but buried in the fine print is authorization to charge your card every billing cycle with bullsh*t subscriptions that may be very difficult to unsubscribe from. Your bank may decline to refund charges even though you were unaware of it. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

have received at least two calls from this #. The person asked if  "blank" lived here and whether or not the person answering phone was "blanks" family member..  The person answering answered yes to the first question  and then got smart and told the caller that they thought they had a wrong #.

Got the same kind of call, heavily Indian accented English ( caller ID reads "Dir Asst NY") looking for a specific person in my household. When I ask who was calling, they hung up. Also, the same from 416-555-5555 (Dir Asst ON). They continue to call, despite my number being on the State and Federal "Do Not Call" list. This is a total scam, give them no information. Record the numbers and report them to your State Attorney General.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number several times a day after I hung up on her the first time. She asked if my name was in fact my name in broken English and then began rambling on about a VISA card. I hung up after that. The next time she called, I told her never to call again.

Have received two calls from this number, even though my phone number is on the Do Not Call Registry. Both times, I answered, and no one spoke on the other end, so I hung up.
Unfortunately, the Do Not Call Registry only works for legitemate companies -- scammers like this don't know and don't care about it

Person called and asked for non-existent person in household...asked for the owner of our home...told her that I am her husband...asked 3 times for the purpose of the call and each time the woman in broken English started reading from her script....still don't know the purpose of the call...hung up after the third time of asking the purpose of the call.  I am also on the Do Not Call Registry...may these people burn in HELL!

Confirmed credit card SCAM. They called me on a Thursday evening saying I was going to receive a gift card in the mail for being a loyal Mastercard customer. They used the last four digits of my card. I didn't give them any information they didn't already have including my phone, address.. except I gave up a secondary email address I use for spam. Then the person just kept talking and talking as I said thank you and pushed to hang up.

Story ends 5 days later when my card fraud protection department called me. My card was charge $3.95 and 19.95 for a "warranty" and I think a magazine. Name on the charge was "MySavingsPlan".

Don't say anything to them except do not call me and I am filing a police report.
