No Message Left from 917-558-8650

This number keeps calling me at work.  I keep getting voicemails with nothing but silence.  It just so happens I'm never at my desk when this number calls.

Got a call from them today while I was at my desk.  It was some salesman peddling DataLogix

Same as the others. Called me at work. No one on the other end.

I received a voicemail at woprk with nothing but silence.

Received a call from this number at work. It was a man with an extremely thick accent, I honestly couldn't tell you one word he said and just hung up.

Two calls to work phone at 5:40pm one day and 4:50pm the next day.  
No msg left

Unsolicited sales call to my work phone at 1pm.

When asked, caller freely gave the following information:

Name: Raj Hajela
Location: Mt. View, CA
Company: Collabnet
Reason for call: Seeing if I was interested in Sourceforge2

I said I wasn't and he politely signed off

This number called on 2/27, and twice so far today. All 3 left empty Voice Messages.

Missed call, called back no answer

I got a call on my cell from this number (1-917-558-8650) just now (1:20p 3-18-08). I answered, and after a second or two of silence, heard only 1) about 20 seconds of smooth jazz music, and then 2) a female, recorded "thank you, and goodbye". No human interaction, no explanation of who was calling or why.

I suspect that it's an automated system fishing for valid phone numbers to be added/kept in a telemarketing database. I wonder if any of the previous posters above experienced an increase in telemarketing activity after this.

called 3 times in a row at 4:15 PM PDT. What a bunch of jerks.
Let's work to get these kind of scum thrown in jail.

The originators at this number are up to no good.
They are phishing for information on networks...



I contacted Delta Three, they are up north ( VoIP reseller ).
They are also investigating this as well; apparently, they have had more than one complaint.


It’s a bogus number too.
Verizon reports it can not be completed as dialed.
No terminating destination for this PN.
Probably customized caller ID information off of their own PBX.




Subject: Suspicious phone call to 7667

Do we need to report this to anyone? EPD?

A guy by the name of Raj Johnson called 7667 wanting information about our network. He said he had communicated with EMORY DIRECTOR and was following up. He said he was calling on behalf of Cisco, though he said he didn’t actually work for them. The email address he gave was raj.johnson@cisco.org. (I checked later and Cisco.org is “The Construction Industry Service Corporation” according to the web site.) When he kept pressing for information I tried to refer him to our own Cisco rep. At that point he very politely hung up before I could tell him anything. This obviously was totally bogus and I’m not sure why he would be trying to get information about us. The number he called from is 917-558-8650. Caller ID said “Delta Thre”. I assume that the word ”Thre” is cut off.

I got a call from this number a few minutes ago and did get a voice message from heavily accented gentleman named Samile ? who said he was from Sun Microsystems and Concentric Networks to invite me to a seminar on "....um...networking". He gave me a number to call back of 206-339-3592 but I already know a little about "....um...networking" so I won't be attending

caller asked for my business e-mail address and how my business sets up internial e-mail addresses. Heavy Accent and very rude.

A man with a spanish accent called me this morning at 3:20 am.  Caller ID listed this number as Delta Three, Inc.

Got a call from 9175588650 just a short while ago. Interestingly, my phone never rang nor did I see any missed calls - as though it was being delivered through our internal VM system. Just a few seconds of background noise and then a hangup.
