Guy called saying he was from Microsoft and that my computer told him that it was infected and needed to be cleaned. He could help me with that, of course. When I told him that he was a scammer and hung up on him, HE CALLED ME BACK to try to convince me that he wasn't a scammer. After a few minutes of arguing (I know I shouldn't have argued, but hung up again), he asked if I was *my mom's name*. I told him no, that she's been dead since last year and I told him to stop calling me and hung up.

Got a call.      He said his name was Kevin and  he was a Windows Tech. Said I have a problem with my computer. Microsoft  does not call if you do have a problem ,THIS IS A SCAM ! They will offer to fix your computer and THIS IS A SCAM!      DO NOT PRESS ANY KEYS !  ( THIS WILL GIVE HIM REMOTE ACCESS TO YOUR PC AND YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION )      .DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION !

I just got a call from this number saying "I'm calling from Windows Operating System and you have an error in your system, which I can help you fix. Are you on system right now?" And I said Whoa.. you are calling from Windows Operating System and not from Microsoft. And he said yes mam, I'm calling from Windows and not from Microsoft. That was the funniest part and it made me laugh. I already knew that it was a fake/scam call somehow trying to get some information out of me. So, I just cut the phone.

This guy called and said he was from Windows and that my computer was running slow and he could fix it. When told that I have my own computer person he told me that I didn't. He then proceeded to argue with me and cuss me out. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me that no one else was there.  I then called the police and reported him.

Just got a call on my elderly moms house phone from this windows guy. I got rude with him and told him to remove that phone number from his list and to never call back. He hung up on me as I was fussing at him. Then... My own cell phone rang. I guess he's got the numbers by address. So I picked up my cell and finished letting him have it. He acted so surprised that I answered another phone  hahaha.
    • Caller: Scam. Says he is from windows.

    Not fooled
It was hard to understand the caller (heavy accent), but when he told me my computer was reporting errors, I knew he was scamming so I repeated everything the guy said.  He got frustrated, made a vulgar offer a couple of times, and I finally had enough so I ended the call.  My cell phone rang with the same caller ID number immediately.  If he doesn't stop calling, just turn off the phone for awhile.   It's a lot more fun to frustrate the caller.

Same scam here too, when I lied and told him I didn't own a computer he asked why I wasted his time.  At the very least it was a good laugh; I hope people don't really fall for this!

Got a phone call today from that number. The guy on the phone had a heavy accent and told me that my computer was infected. He told me that he could guide me through to fix it. I told him that I didn't have a computer, and that I only had a iPad. I Replied saying that he had the wrong number but he said that he had the correct number and said my name. I wonder how he knows my name.
