I played along for a while.  She said she was from microsoft and new I had a problem because my windows8 computer wasn't updating properly.  I had to stop her there and tell her I didn't have a ms computer; only a mac.  The phone went silent.  :)

No message left.

Same scammer, trying to tell me I have problems with my computer.  Indian accent.  I say BS.  He says what is BS?  OK, I asked where he is located?  Georg-gia.  Oh, really?  Finally hung up on me.

This is the scam where they try to get you to allow them access into your computer to "fix" something.

This is fraud! No one from Microsoft will contact you! Microsoft will not randomly call you to fix your computer! Just tell them you will contact your own tech support!!! Tell them no thank you!! I have received many of this same phone call!! FRAUD!!!!!!!!!

I told him to F off. came from a wireless number from Verizon wireless 1-917-697-1435. From New York.
