- LisaReceived a call this morning from a woman with a strong Indian accent stating her name was "Amy Logan" and that she was from the IRS. She explained that I had "unresolved business with the IRS" and needed to call her manager in regards to this manner. I played along and asked for her managers name in which she responded with another basic American name....Laurie Smith. She gave me another number. When I told her I didn't have any "unresolved business with the IRS" and that I thought it was a scam. She hung up on me. I called her back. This time her name was Jennifer Clark. I said, "Isn't your name Amy?" She hung up on me again. Two hours later, I got another call from the same people but this time it was a differnt woman on the other end. Her name was also Americanized although she too had a strong Indian accent. I called her out on the scam. Guess what she did? Yep, hung up.
- Caller: Scammer!
- Tina| 1 replyReceived several calls today without leaving message. When I call back later she said that she is Amy Logan from IRS some kind of senior citizen crime investigator. When I asked more questions exactly where she is calling from, she hung up on me. I called back again, and this time after she said she is Amy Logan from IRS and then (probably she realized that I called earlier), she said "Fxxx" word and hung up.
- Caller: New York

- EllenReceived several calls today at my home #. When I returned the call the first time there was no answer. Waited a little called again and got Amy Logan who identified herself as a officer of the IRS. She claimed that I had a legal complaint against me and that an criminal arrest warrant was on me, and she asked if I had a lawyer. I said I had no issues with the IRS and she hung yup. I called back, she told me, "I have no time for this." and I said, "I reported your phone # to the Treasury Department." and she hung up on me.
