I received the same call from the same number and i am also in calgary
I tried to research the site - not from my phone either - and came up with one of those surveys where they try to get your email address - which i did not do either!

Although this number maybe out of country shouldn't be excuses the list cannot be in forced.

Live in Vancouver, total scam.

1-(917)-756-7905 Received text message just after 3 in the morning which woke me up!! "You are todays Canadian winner...http://www.canada.coolsms.info". I live in metro Vancouver, BC. Please stop these calls.

hi.i got this message on my cellphone from u canada winner.i guess im the canada winner and i have 24 hours to claim a prize..how does this work..iv never won anything befor.so i dont know what to do.

It’s a scam.  If you reply they will ask you for a credit card number or bank account number to pay for shipping and handling and insurance.  They will spend all of the money in the account.   They will never send you a gift card.  If you visit the website in the message it will download spyware and viruses and heaven knows what else.  

Delete the message.  Do not reply to it.  Do not visit the website in the message.

I also got got a text from them I am in Vancouver BC, they sure have a lot of time on thire hands
