Caller ID came up as Bill Winkler &, but caller claimed to be from Southwest Airlines. Numerous other voices heard in the background, like a telephone sales force.

This number called my cell phone number.  I answered and listened to this lady talk about giving away two southwest airline tickets and when she finally took a breath I told her thank you but I wasn't interested. She then proceeded to explain that this wasn't a sales call and that she was giving away two plane tickets, and asked if I was married.  I then said to her that this was my private cell number and asked where did you get this phone number from, and she hung up on me.  Rude. On my home phone I either have them blocked or simply don't answer a number I don't know.  Now, they have my cell number?  It's gotten outa hand.

Yes they are totally out of hand! I Don't even want to answer my own phone anymore. They have been calling my cell from various numbers sometimes its within my own area code. They always claim to be southwest.

Called me 3 times on sunday, back to back to back. Didn't pick up, called back and was a busy tone

SPAM. Do not answer their calls. They are trying to collect personal information to steal from people.

They keep asking for personal information and if you don't give it out they ask other personal information. Seems like a new way to steal people's information. They claimed to be from Delta Airlines new office grand opening promotion.

So this number called me on my personal cell and told me I won 2 round trip tickets from delta airlines. When they asked my age, I asked them how did try get my number, and the lady hung up. She had a strong Filipino accent. It's spam and out there to steal money. Stupid [***]!!

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Claimed to be Southwest airlines and wanted me to accept VIP tickets to a new travel center in Santa Rosa, CA. You could tell it was a telemarketer. Got called again and was told this time that American Airlines was calling me.  Ugh.  Where do they get our phone numbers?

Number states Delta Airlines and that I will be their honored guest in Santa Rosa. When hung up, they called right back. Sounded like scam; language accented.

They called again and number states it's disconnected if you try to call it back. Fake number on caller ID.

They called me and my husband three different times on two different personal cel phone lines claiming to be from Southwest Airlines, they said they are from new business center in Santa Rosa, two free tickets round trip when I told her I was not interested she hung up on me. She had an accent and I I think Southwest has no clue this is happening.

scam caller, when I tried to call this # back, the operator say it is a disconnected number.  They should be reported to police.

Called me on my company issued cell phone. I missed the call and they did not leave a message.

Called my husbannnnds cell phone, went through the 2 free tickets spiel, new travel center in Richardson Texas.  I listened in with him. He told them not interested and hung up.  2 minutes later they call my cell phone.  The girl said word for word what the first caller said.  They sound Asian and the voices were so similar could have been same person. I'm sick of being harassed night and day not just on cell but landline.  FCC has a DNC but they don't make it easy to report these calls.

The lady called my cell phone number and claimed that she represented Delta Airlines and celebrated a grand opening in Pomona, CA.  When her supervisor took over the phone and asked if I  was single or married and I told her that I was single.  She hung up on me.  I tried to call back and it says it was a disconnected number.

A lady with strong accent just called my personal cell and told me that I'm a special guest of Southwest Airlines and they are giving me two free tickets. She then told me to wait so she could have her manager talk to me. Another lady with Indian accent started talking. I told her I was driving in traffic and didn't want to be distracted. She let me go but said she would call back later.
