- Jannifer| 2 repliesThis is a collection agency in Tulsa Oklahoma. Financial Management Services located at 4915 S Union Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107-7839. These people have been calling us for months looking for a person who has not being living with us for 2 years. The callers are quite rude, and I don't answer any more their calls.
- Caller: FMS INC
- Call type: Debt collector
- CherylThe caller is looking for a person that does not live at this number and no matter how many times I tell them they refuse to believe me, they call 2 and 3 times a day everyday it is starting to get a bit aggrevating.

- AnonymThis same company has called me for the past 3 years looking for a "Ruby Lewis". I have had the same phone # for those 3 years and have no idea who this person is. I tried calling and telling them that they have the wrong number. They will then tell you they will take the number out of the system which is a lie and then just keep calling.
3yrs of the crap and I have tried everything. - SHUT UP!this bogus company calls my cell an average od three times a day and a computerized voice keeps asking for some random person....i want to know how the hell they got my number!
i really think we should file a law suit against them for harassment!- Caller: FMS
- LawbetFMS calls me two or three times daily and asks for a bogus person trying to collect a debt. I can never reach a "live" person. I believe they received the account information from another agency called Kansas Counselors, Inc. (KCI), located at 8725 Rosehill Road, Lenexa, KS 66215 who have been harrassing me for six months. If anyone else had a problem with KCI, please let me know. I suggest that all of you getting calles from FMS to file a Consumer Protection Complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General's office. The website is: http://www.oag.ok.gov/
I believe this is the only way we can get these companies to stop calling us by involving the Attorney General's of our respective states in addition to Oklahoma. Let's fight this.- Caller: Financial Management Services

- PhilipFMS has been calling us almost everyday looking for a person who do not live at our address. Eventhough I have repeately asked them to remove us from their database and that their information is incorrect, nothing happened and that they keep calling us. Staff tone and attitude are rude, riff raff and extremely impolite. If anyone has an effective way to stop these guys from this kind of harrassment, please post!

- ABUSE, UNDO STRESS IS NOT ALLOWED replies to JanniferI don't know who this is calling my house, they called my home for several months calling and hanging up. When I complained to the phone company now I get this FMS, OR SMS, collections. These people are the type of people who do not follow FTCA guide lines in collections, or the FPA on collections they already broke the law when calling my home all day just to hang up in my face. I am fed up with these types of places. They buy these old accounts and I am sure there is a statue of limitations on these old accounts, these foringers come in and harrass a person not knowing the law or not carring about it, I have had enough. I told a company how much I could pay they refused to accept my payment, they can stick it where the sun doesn't shine, as far as I am concerned. When I find out who this is calling my home and hanging up in my face just to harrasse me, that will be the day, they will have come to know the wrath of God.
- ITS NOT THE LAW replies to JanniferThese places to not have the right to call their parties, without notification they can, humiliating the person into payment, law suit. You write them a letter telling them to stop calling your home, second file a complaint with Consumer Affairs about the abusive practices they are showing. Call the Attorney General in your state, file a complaint with them, all these people complaining in here, all should go to the Attorney General's office, you may have a case of harassment. They do not have the right to humiliate, harass, or get their parties into a collection if no one has agreed to that, these [***] over $3.00 damn dollars. If it was thousands of dollars I could understand, normally in these cases if the card people who abused the consumer tricked them and then started taking all these charges on. Damn [***] I am sick and tired of being used up, userie is against the law collection agency they are making me sick with this undo harassment like going to the hospital sick with all this stress they are putting me through, law suit.. please forgive my misspelled words yawl!
- bnbsWhen we moved to AZ 7 yrs ago we were unlucky enough to get the old # of a Lois Cummins. She has many collection companies after her. We didn't change the number because it's on everything and doesn't necessarily stop the harrassing calls. We've told them to just call information to get her current # and have spoken to supervisors but nothing stops the calls. FMS is the latest to call constantly. I'm affraid this will continue indefinately...

- WilliamI'm also getting these calls from FMS. I called them back and they said they were looking for (I don't remember the name; it was a strange name). I told them I had no idea who that person is and to stop calling me. They did apologize. I told them to take me off their caller list. We will see if that is implemented. I doubt they will stop calling as I read this forum. I don't know how to stop these kinds of ridiculous callers.
Our society is turning to total crap these days with all the privacy being stripped from us. Where are we going in this country?- Caller: FMS
- MarcThey've been calling me every couple of days for a couple weeks, but I don't answer unknown or 800 numbers unless they call to the point of irritation. I figure that if a call is important enough, the person on the other end will leave a voicemail.
So, I finally decide to answer, and their electronic voice system said it was FMS and that it wasn't a sales call, and to press 1 if I'd like to speak to a representative. Since I didn't know who in the hell they were, I just let it hang up on me.
Then, I called them back. Got a live person in less than a minute and knew right away who I was from my Caller ID, but stated my name incorrectly as Marcus. I corrected her, and she said, "Oh, well let me verify your address." She named off some address that sounded kind of familiar from my past, but I wasn't sure. Then she asked to verify the last four of my social (she said the digits, not me), and I told her it was completely wrong. She said the call must've been a mistake and that she would remove my number.
My guess is that these people collect phone numbers for every fuzzy match on name/address/social/whatever for whatever reason they may have (couldn't gleam enough information from the call to know what they were calling about), and call EVERYONE until they find the person they are looking for. The other posts on this list seem to confirm it. Horrible business practice, if you ask me. I can only hope and pray that this is just some lame [***] company called FMS and not the government's FMS. I would expect slightly better ethics from the government (but only slightly).- Caller: FMS

- TremPress 1, put the phone down and hit them where it hurts - costs, rep wastes time as noo ne on the line to talk to, FMS pays for longer call costs, if everyone responded to these junk calls the same way it would stop happening because it would not be cost effective to use the automated calling.

- Linda| 1 replyOK- so we got all these automated calls from FMS- no idea who they were so I ended up first calling a governmental agency. They were kind enough to call me back and tell me that it was a collection agency. So I googled FMS in combination with compaints and found this site.
Call the 918-747-4884 #- they actually pick up. Tell them that you will file a complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General. I called them up- the woman I spoke with asked me if I was Juan Valdez and that I am not, we are of Swedish heritage not Hispanic and I told her that, as well as about the complaint and mentioned suing them in general too. So she was going to remove my number.
Then I called back to check- and the guy I spoke with the second timesaid that my number was removed. Told them that I don't work my derriere off to pay my bills and have a 800 credit score to be harassed by people like them so it better stay removed, and he was actually apologetic. He said that this guy Juan had given my number has his home phone number, which he might have- like 10 years ago.- Caller: FMS
