call with no message

I think these people call every day, maybe even more than once.  They never leave a message.  It is listed as "local call" when the phone rings.

Called today and said they were calling to say thank you (For what, I have no idea).  When I asked who they were, they said Ventel (sp?) and hung up.  Kind've strange.

I called the number back on my cell....I got a recording saying it is the:
Military order of Purple Heart, smthg, smthg, smthg....

I just love these people! ! ! !

Asked for me by name....Of course not Joe Bob Bily...
but I said he is not here and the man says, "Isn't this you?"...
I asked him to please stop calling.
They call every day.
I am sick and tired of the harrassment!
I called the number back and a Customer Service number was given:
It is 1-800-704-1642.

Okay...After calling the number back, the recording gave me their Customer Service number. Here u can be placed on what they call, "their free DO NOT CALL List." You must call from the phone number they have been calling, i.e. your residential phone, not ur cell phone. Also, you must not BLOCK your caller id. So, call the customer service number, 1-800-704-1642. You will then hear a recording which will prompt you to "Press 9" to be placed on their Do Not Call List. I did this. The recording says it will take several days....So, we will see what happens!
