Rcved call and called back. Told number was not in service.07//7/08. If the number is not in service then how did the call get placed?

I just received a telephone call from 919.381.1117 at 3:08pm (Eastern), yet they did not leave a message.  I tried to call back, but also received the message that the number was no longer in service.  What is the deal?

This number is an out sourcing number for IBM. If you received it more than likely it is someone from the RDU location.

got a call from that number too.  cannot call back.

You received a call from an IBM employee in RTP, NC.  9193811117 is one of the numbers that the PBX uses when dialing out.  Dunno why they can't make it map to the employee's real number.

received a call and when tried to call back got the message the # was not in service

its an RTP IBM exchange number. Some-one who knows you must have called from inside of the site. There is no marketing or other stuff in there.

this rude man called twice and the second time i answered, he was asking for a name that does not live here.then he wanted my name, so when i told him that my name was not his business , he quickly hung up on me..........caller id showed ): IBM 919-381-1117....stay tune..because i will be looking into this.............BEWARE
