Text from this unknown number that says  "Wassah mah name iz Brooke".
I do not know anyone who writes like that. Surprised 'Brooke' can use a phone.

Received a text from this number "hiya my name is brooke"

It's a phishing scam trying to get you to verify the phone is being used. Then they sell your phone number. I saw it on the news. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-25509 ... -recognise.html
I reported the text "hey there mah name iz brookE :-)" to at&t's block spam text messages number, 7726 (SPAM). http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB115812&cv=820#fbid=yl7Sp2u1yoc
Don't respond, just report.

 I recieved a text saying "hey there mah name is brooke" So I asked "Who are you?" and they said "I found you on fb can we chat?" but I don't have a fb account so I said "Do I know you" and they said " No you don't know me......YET"

I received a text from this number @ 11:20pm saying wassup my friends call me brooke. And got a message from 7322016236 monday saying it was brooke. And i said they were freaking me out to stop texting and never heard from it again till now. Who is this and how do they get my ##???

This phone number is clearly spam, the text messages come off very uncomfortable. I had to block this number and verify with my phone company hoping that this number will do nothing to my account. Someone please take action and stop this person because seeing how many people this is done to in the past few days, it's harassment.

Got same message. This is dumb, what could somebody possibly want/do with my phone number?

Got the same thing today. I dont have my phone number on facebook, and I never have known anyone with the name iz brooke. I got it then form of a text message and recommend to not reply to it. Report it the number, mark as spam messages and use a call blocking app so you don't answer to these calls. It is a phishing website for personal information because they want people to insert personal info to scam. Take care of yourselfs and do warn others.

Just received a phone call from this number about Brooke. Glad I came across this site to see that it was spam before I answered to the message.
