Said I had the IRS coming after me. And by hanging up I would be sent to federal prison if I didn't pay my debts. I don't have any debts, hence it's a scam.

Computer generated call, computer voice, can't even use proper grammar syntax, etc., totally foreign. If I don't call "federal agents" they will come after me.

Called to say the IRS filed a lawsuit against me for a certain amount of $$$ and that marshalls will come to my house in a few hours to arrest me. When I said i didnt bleieve the information he had, he became irate and accused me of calling him a liar and threatened that i will find out the truth when federal agents come to possess my assets.

Called my wife and told her she would go to jail if she didn't call them back and ask to speak to a federal agent.  I called them to raise hell, and message greeting said "person is not available".  Clearly no federal agency has just one person.  complete scam
