calls at odd hours of the day/night, too.

yeah, got a call from the number last night.  stupid prank call - some guy making jokes about my wife.  really dumb and annoying.

Got a call from this number at 11am on Sunday.  Said hello three times and then they hung up.  Came through PRIVATE.  Do they only do it once or continue doing it?

call on a private number, but when i press call back it gave me this number. threatening to kill me and my roommate and telling us to have our coffins ready.

Rec'ing calls from this number shows up as Private. Continues to call and when called back from a different number just rang no answer!!!

Have gotten several harrasing calls from this #. Like everyone else, it shows up as private then when I hit redial I get the same # everyone else gets. Odd thing is there is no area code associated with the #. Annoying but certainly the style of a coward.

Received a call at 12:18 am on Saturday, May 2, 2009 on my cell which is a Georgia cell number and I live in Cary, NC.  The phone is listed as being in Sanford, NC - Lee County when checked on internet.  When I answered the phone the caller hung up.  I have called the number back several times during the day and no one ever answers.  I will try to call in the AM hours to see if anyone will pick up.  When first checking the phone number thru the operator I was told that the number belongs to a David Crews.  If anyone knows if this is who the phone belongs to then please respond as to who he is. I am curious because my husband left me the day before and if this a call relating to my relationship with my husband then I may have to just get in the car and drive to Sanford, NC to ask why I was called.

How did you find out Alltel.  Internet stated Main Streem Phone Company & said that it was a land line when I checked.

Called at 12:20 Dallas Texas, I answered and stayed silent and then they said hello (girls voice) and I just hung up.

Does anyone know why this # calls and hangs up? What is the motive and is something being done about this? There has to be some rhyme or reason to these phone calls; considering all of the reports I have read on here are from victims near the area this person/people are calling from. However, I live all the way in Missouri. Nowhere near NC. I am a bit concerned now!
