The guy says "This is Brown County Sheriff's Department..."  Yeah right!  Beware!

I received a call from this number today and when I answered no one said anything. When I called it back, I got a message saying it's not in service.

*eyeroll*

This guy called asked for my wife by the wrong last name. Asked him to please not call again and his response was he will continue to call until he talks to her and says its the brown county sheriffs office.  BS sheriff's office is not going to harass you.

received 2 calls (2 hours apart 9am and 11 am) this morning from this number on our landline.  Since we did not know this number (although it could have been from Aurora Healthcare clinic -- the 288 is their exchange) we let it go to the machine.  NO MESSAGE.

Keep getting calls from this number. Answer and they do not say anything. Call back and it says google subscriber is not available.

It looks like someone is at it again. Judging by the dates of the previous calls they must have laid low for awhile and hoped people had forgot who they were.  Don't answer, block calls , and above all don't give to these scum bags.

This number continues to call and does not leave message. My wife finally answered and they asked for me. When she said I wasnt available & what was the call concerning they wouldnt tell her. When she persisted and asked what the call was about they hung up. I tried returning the call & no answer with message the google customer is unavailable. There should be a way to file formal complaints against these unwanted calls.
