All I got was a message asking me to hold, then another recording told me to call 888.303.3634, then someone else said "Hello?" Then the voicemail ended.

Same here. Caller id says Manitowac, WI.  No message.

Yep. Calling me AND my 13 year old daughters phone! She is dealing with brain cancer and they choose to hassle her... She TOLD a live person to stop calling, she is 13! They are cold and need to get the correct debters, cuz its not her OR me.

Some girl called asking for someone that did not live in my household.  Appeared to be some sort of fishing expedition looking for people with similar names.  The caller was pleasant and apologized for the call but I am still pissed about their attempt to located somebody through similar family names.  Ugh!!!

Got a call/voicemail today from Tracy with Ameriquest for a Sara Danielson. Number that showed up on my phone was 920-645-6201. Tracy's message told me to call her back at 888-303-3634. She said she is with a collection agency and i have until 1:30 tomorrow to call her back. I'm not Sara Danielson and name isnt even close.  And I dont owe anyone any money.
Have a friend who got a call from same number 2 weeks ago except they said they had money/inheritance for her.

A woman calls asking for my husband, gives me her name and phone number, and that she will be there until 9pm.  So I get curious....and start asking her questions....finally I say this is his wife, and she says to me Oh, I didn't know he was married!!!!  So, what is the first thing a wife would think, and I continued to ask her what this phone call was about and she started in on the privacy crap, and I said I was his wife and nothing in this house is private....I finally hung up on her....and looked up the phone #.  It's a frickin' debt collector!!!!

I received a call at my office from 920.645.6201 per caller ID, but the caller asked that I call back (888) 303-3634.  Someone took the time to wade through our extension numbers and got my phone.   The caller stated her name and that this is a call for Rxxxxx Cxxxxx.  They then left their number twice and then said, call us back.  This is a debt collection matter.  No specific amount or name familiar to me  was left, only their alleged company name "Americollect".  I owe no one.  At least no debt that is past due, to my knowledge.  I called back.  They looked my name up then asked to me to give them my birthday.  I said, I have no idea who you are, what is this in regards to.  They said, can you give me your birthday.  I said "NO".  I don't know you.  They replied, we can't give out personal information, we don't know if you're who you say you are.  I said, "Exactly!  I guess we're at a stall mate.  Goodbye."  They call all they want, but hell will freeze over before I talk to them again.

This time this calling number left a message on my cell phone but typically have not in the past ... never heard clearly who they are looking for but same deal with a separate call back on another number. I know now why so should share here .. I have a recently reassigned business cell number (recycled via Verizon) so can only assume the last person with this number might have been a deadbeat as I've gotten other calls; including automated calls from a school that said it was closing early so please pick up your kids! At least on the other calls I was able to explain that they've reached the wrong person so please take me off your list ... this one I'm not going to bother so eventually/hopefully they'll move on ... very annoying! My 'new' number was added to the do-not-call list but doesn't appear to work for these types of calls.

The DO NOT CALL list is not for collection agencies. I was having the same problem with receiving debt collection calls for someone else and told them no one by that name lives here and to stop calling. They continued to call and I called the FTC and reported them. The calls finally stopped. The Do Not Call List is for soliciting insurance or siding on your house that you did not asked to be called. Collection Agencies and Political calls are exempt. Collection Agencies are to stop calling once you tell them to stop calling.

hi m8,what about this scam which i have been scammed recently from 888.com, i won 1900 pounds on last saturday and withdrawal 1900,and monday i have loged in and see money is not there,i have emailed them and they replied after a week and saying some 1 loged in to the account and spent all the money,basically its not some 1 its 888.com they scammed many people like this,
i wana put this news on uk news paper, will pay what ever it cost me, please some1 tell me how to advertise this to a uk news,07810751101 thanks
