Received call on my cell phone, I'm on the DNC list???? I have been randomly selected to possibly be eligible for $100 in rewards from Wal-Mart, Target and.... Just press 1 to be transferred to a live associate...... I just hung up.  I called the number back and no mention of a company, but I could possibly be eligible for.....same message as before.

Received call telling me that I had been selected for a $100 gift card from Wal Mart.  I'm on the Do Not Call list.

WHAT?!?!?!?!  What good is the Do Not Call List?  So irritating.

Was blocked with my Digi Tone call blocker, phone doesn't even ring, you need one

Received call from this ph# regarding my being eligible for a $100 Walmart Gift Card.  Press 1....I just hung up b/c I don't know the validity of this offer.

For all of you who complain on these boards about being on the DNC I have a tip for you.  THESE ARE CRIMINALS!  Do you really think scammers trying to get your personal information would really reference the DNC list? Of course not.  Just like the signs posted for no guns allowed at a business would really stop anyone wanting to commit a crime or injure someone.

Whenever I receive these calls I Google the number just to make sure it wasn't legitimate and then add it to my call blocker app. My Google search always surprises me with people complaining about being on the DNC.  Shocking the lack of street smarts in this country.

received a missed call from them.  I then called them they saidI won a $100 giftcard to Wal mart, $40 gas card and a $25 American Express card.  THey said all I had to do was pay the shipping to get them to me.  LOL!!! What a joke I hung up.

The DO NOT CALL LIST is only good if they are trying to sell you something.  Most of the "people" that call from these numbers are not trying to sell you something.  That is the downfall of the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Beware of these gift card scammers!!
