I have received a call from this number at least once a day for nearly a month.  Does anyone know who this is?

It's Optimum/Cablevision trying to "save you money" (a.k.a trying to sell you their "Triple Play").

I keep getting calls from this number - have complained to cable vision already.

I used to get calls from 631 also.  I actually spoke to someone on one occasion and after looking up my info he says "well you're already on promotion and we can't help you today"  So why are you calling me then???/

I also got the 631 calls for about 2 months. Now getting these calls about 6-8 times a day. I heard the best thing to do is not to answer, because once you do It's known as an active line and your number just keeps getting passed around. Then again, it looks like not answering isn't stopping them either.

It is CableVision using a California area code.

Annoying, repeated calls

I got a call from this number this afternoon at 1:05pm. I'm in NY; I have Cablevision; what the hell is going on?

I get called twice a day with this number. If this is Cablevision, I already have your service....PLEASE let me be!

I got a call from this no. on my cell phone. Interesting as I just read this because I actually live in a 631 area code.  It is the Eastern half of Long Island, where Optimum/Cablevision is.

this number is not a cable vision number, got official statement from the company. Do not pick up or call back, this is not a cable vision company.

I googled it, says it's registered to a locksmith in Pleasanton, CA.

But yea, i used to get 631 now I havn't in a long time but get the 925 now.

this used to happen with a different company, and the number was registered to a towing company but not when i picked up for them.
