who called me

This call is from Career Advisors.........I didn't get a call I received a text instead with a message stating they were interested in my resume since I had been looking for a job. Once a rep came on the phone she stated that she would be helping with my job search. She wanted me to confirm my address and other information. I did not feel comfortable in doing that. If this were a legit call from a job posting that I answered they would have had an attached resume with my information. Something just didn't seem right with the call so I hung up.

Got a message on my cellphone about a job. They left a phone number, so I called the number and  I told a woman who spoke English with a foreign accent that I don't trust her business because it' SCAM!!!
Very loud background and someone who barely speaks the language in a professional manner. Folks do not trust this people.

Got a text message again from this people on 1/18. This time the woman told me she was from Delta airlines and that she wanted to help me with my job choice because I was searching for a job. She was asking me about my address and I told her that I did not trust her at all. I told her that I have a job and a well paid one and I am just looking for something different. I guess there is money to take away here that's why they are so persistent and on my neck. People be careful!!!!

I received this text message: "11:10 AM 9253046347: Hi Michael! We'd like to speak with you about the position you applied for on our job board. Call 9252988678 Text STOP to cancel"

I called the number, they said they were with localjobsearch.com. They were asking questions a job recruiter would ask and didn't ask any personal information questions except for my address. A search for the website comes up dry. If it is a scam, the only thing I can see coming out of this is more junk mail...oooh scary.

Received same message as Michael. Glad I looked it up on web. Have enough junk mail as it is.

I just received a text on my cell saying the following:

Hi Darlene!  We'd like to speak with you about the position you applied for on our job board.  Call 9252988678.

Really?  You would either get a call directly or an email; sorry not a text!!!!

I received the same text from 925.298.8678 from a lady named Brenda claiming she was following up on a job seekers board where I applied electronically with submitted resume to that she claimed was called "AJobSite". I asked her if she had my resume in front of her and which job posting she was referring to that I had applied for. She did not have my resume nor could tell me which specific job it was that she texted me about and "I" was calling back for. After listening to her very, very fast read a scripted response to me, I was transferred to another "foreign voiced" operator about furthering my education through a online course related to my profession.I said I was only interested in applying and securing full time employment and not starting any online courses at this time. She thanked me for my time and interest...lol...and hung upon me. More Spam and [***]. Good Wishes to all Job Seekers!

It doesn't lead to a job, just a job search company.  Just type in "Stop" and send.  You will then be unsubscribed.  

Its all about education sales, I think its tied in with indeed.com and beyond.com job search networks.

Got all excited, received the same text as everyone else and couldn't understand the person on the other line. I hung up.

I just got the same message. Hi Sandy we would like to talk to you about the job you posted on the board, call 925-298-8678. I sent a message back and ask who they were and what job was it? No reply.

I received a text message and called the number. It is a cover up education sales call. I asked which job post and was told it was for a customer service position I applied for on Career Hound, that is where she said she had most of my information. The only thing that was incorrect was my zipcode. She asked questions regarding my last position, then asked why an employer would want to hire me, then asked if I would consider furthering my education. I had already told her my age and answered her question. Do yourself a favor and just text the word stop, you will not be getting hired by returning the call.
