Was given this number by my mother as a call back number for "windows" tech support, regarding her computer being hacked.

I got calls on my answering machine with a foreign accent, and the person didn't leave a message.  This morning I answered, and a man who said he is Dave Martin (foreign accent, maybe Indian), said he was trying to help with an urgent matter of someone "getting into my computer".  He gave me his employee ID and this number.  Implied he was with Microsoft.  My internet security company said it's a scam.  I called the number back and the same man answered "technical support".  The company is listed as 01 Communications, Inc., Ca.

received a call from 925-300-1132 from Mick Morgan (doesn't sound Indian to you, eh?), said it was Windows Tech support and wanted to help with a virus on my computer.  Told him I knew it was a scam, he just kept insisting it wasn't, gave his contact info, then I said, "So out of the goodness of your heart, you're calling windows customers to try and help them with their computers and fix them for free?"...his reply, "I never said that ma'am".  Don't believe there is any goodness of heart with what's going on at "that place?"  BTW, this was about our 10th call from them...getting annoying!

got this call from someone with an Indian accent giving me an American name. He said he needed to get in to my computer to stop hackers from harming my computer.  the address he gave me for the business was 340 S Lemon ave, Walnut , Ca  the phone number was 925-300-1132 if I needed to call back if we got disconnected. The id on my phone was private caller. After telling him I would not let him into my computer, that i would l report him for fraud to the police, he got louder and more persistent. He said they would shut down my computer and take away my Microsoft license? I laughed and told him to tell me that when they called tomorrow. He then proceeded to call me every name in the book. I hung up on him. He called back twice. Scam artists dont go away easily.

This man from "Microsoft tech services" called this morning around 10am. He claimed his name was Jerry and he is the "senior tech".  He was concerned about several errors that were occurring with our windows due to our fire fall being expired. He sent us a document through our printer that said it was $299 to fix this. When my dad said he wasn't interested in doing that today the guy threatened to shut down our entire computer box AND Internet so that we wouldn't get a "virus and blame them". My dad then questioned the guy why windows would call a customer and threaten to "shut them down". My dad then shut down our computer and Internet manually (which didn't matter because the guy was connected remotely) and told the moron that he would "call back tomorrow" just to get him off the phone. Idiots.

Since the thief had access to your computer, run a virus & malware scan NOW.  They may have placed spyware on your unit.  Also keep an eye on your banking information & your contact list. You never know what these liars will do!

This is NOT Microsoft and they can NOT tell there is a computer problem!

received many calls from number 925 300 1132. shows up on caller i.d. as 70-0002(not enough characters).  I finally answered yesterday morning, the caller asked for me by my correct name.  caller named Justin Arthur,(very Anglo sounding name),but,he sounded like he was on a magic carpet at 7-11 (Indian or [***])&  claimed he was from Microsoft& needed me to take the following steps:
    1.  press Control and R at same time.(window pops up)
    2.  enter www.goo.gl/399bx
    3. press Enter, which of course, I did NOT do...
I requested Justin's call back which he gave as 925 300 1132.  I told him I would call him back and he replied most firmly that it had to be immediately or else my computer would crash and all info would be lost.  I told him I didn't care and that I would just buy another computer.  this pissed him off.  I then told him I would call him back later and he insisted it was no good as he screamed, "NO,NO,NO,NO,NO!" by now, he was really pissed and I told him to go fuc* himself while I laughed at  him tauntingly.  I hope he calls back so I can FUC* with him some more! only thing is, eventually, these cretins find gullible people that believe them and unwittingly assist third worlders and cyber terrorists to fund mayhem in western countries.  I hope this helps to thwart the havoc they wish to impose upon our nation and way of life...

Caller ID comes up as 70-0002

Foreign guy, saying he's from Windows. We exchanged a nice list of expletives to each other. After I had had enough, I threatened him with more than violence. He wanted more, so I hung up on the s.o.b. If he calls again, he gets the referee's whistle.

Received a call from someone identifying himself Robin, a computer tech from the Technical Department of Windows saying his company received messages showing there was a serious problem with my computer. He spoke with a thick Indian accent.  Realizing this was a scam I asked for his phone number so I could call him back.  He gave me 925-300-1132.  I called and the phone was answered by another person with a thick Indian accent.  I asked what company he was with and why was I called.  He said there was an issues with my system but refused to give me his company's name until I gave him my name so he could check his records. I continued to press for his company name and he hung up.  I called back three times and each time we went through the same routing with him hanging up

Since this phone number goes directly to a person who thinks it's in his benefit to answer I suggest we give the number to everyone we know and bombard them with calls asking where our pizza delivery is  ;]

70-0002 on my caller ID, says he's from the "main" line of MIcrosoft and that my computer is downloading all these viruses and I'm sending them to the main IP address of microsoft. Wanted me to enter these things in the computer, identical to Valspar above. I kept saying who the hell are you??? He kept saying he's technical support from Microsoft, I kept saying I've never heard of such s%$t  in all the years I've used computers. I said I'm not doing what you want, I'm shutting it down and he said go ahead, you won't be able to use the computer! Total scam!!! I immediately, unplugged the internet cord, ran a virus scan and checked all my security items, everything working normal. Just a big warning out there, to the elderly especially. It was my elderly parent that answered the phone even though many of times I've told her, if you don't recognize the caller ID, don't answer it!

Same deal (70-0002).  The caller was extremely combative. Called me all kind of names when I didn't do as he asked.  I am tired of this crap.

This idiot called me minutes ago. He wanted me to give him remote access to my computer so he could "fix" all the security intrusions as he called them. His name is Chris Brown. I asked for his phone number "in case we got disconnected" since this was so "urgent" in his opinion. Phone number is 925-300-1132. We did get disconnected and he did call me back. Together we can beat these jerks at their own game. Check your virus protection and/or alert your internet provider.

Found 70-0002 on the answering machine when I got home from work.  When I listened to the message, the caller (in his thick accent) asked to speak to my husband by name, not realizing he was speaking to a machine.  He was very persistant, almost screaming "Hello? Hello?  May I speak to ___?" until the machine cut him off.  Actually quite amusing to hear his frustration and stupidity!!

Same as above.  Claimed one of my computers was sending error messages which was jamming up their server.  Scary thing is they had my CLSID number and phone number.  These people are very persistent and call 3-4 times per day.  I don't answer and it comes up as a private number I cannot block it.  Somebody should get after these clowns.  Internet policing should be a bigger priority.

My husband answered the call that showed up on our caller id as unknown. The person claimed to be with Microsoft Windows Technical Support and was calling because there was a problem with our computer connected to their centralized computer. When my husband said he was not interested the guy threatened to block our computer. He had a thick Indian accent and claimed his name was Thomas Wilson - which was the first clue that this was a scam. My husband hung up on him at one point and the guy called back. I answered and he wanted to know why we hung up. I told him that we thought it was a scam. He started up again. I explained to him that I didn't understand why he would even call on our home number as we don't have it listed on any account and that we were in the process of getting read for work and that if he really was with Microsoft that I would want to receive an email from him with more detailed information as I was having trouble understanding what he was talking about. He said he would email me. I said ok, use the email on my account. I also asked him for his call back number in case I had any questions. They are certainly persistant.
