Received call from this number offering a free English course that according to the caller, is a benefit from USCIS and is asking for $200.00 I know that the goverment will never call to offer benefits, as it is is hard to get any when you apply. It shows that this is a scam.

A year ago my boyfriend received a local call from a man offering a course to learn how to speak English. A week later he started receiving calls from a woman and a different number at all hours of the day saying he had a contract with them and had to pay by phone. The more we refused the more she called for 2 weeks nonstop.
Today my boyfriend started receiving calls from 1-925-309-8865 saying that he was reported to immigration for not paying an English course a year ago and wanted him to pay immediately or get deported.
