Got a call from this number. No one there. Sales Spider says this number belongs to Robert Winfield who lives on Davi Ave in Pittsburg Ca.

I am actually not a real person I am just pretending to be one so you
answer the phone so I can harass you.
It is alot of fun! My boss says I need to harass at least 100 people before I
get one dumb enough to pay me money. Then I will continue to harass them till
the end of time. Please don't block my number, just give me money for nothing

All numbers that begin with the following 925-439-88XX are from scammers.
sometimes it will be from "Robert Winfield", Pittsburg, CA , etc - I have recieved calls from 8802, 8839, 9997, 8842
just block them. Don't look for the gov to do anything about these scammers because there's too many of em'
just block them or blow a whistle into the phone

Received call... I let my answering machine do the work... Erased voice mail & caller ID display....

Probably the solar energy lead generating pests in Pittsburg CA with another new number.
Called this morning and just said 'hello, hello' to my answering machine.
All other calls from 925-439-xxxx have been solar pests.
They robo-call a computer list of numbers to try an generate solar energy sales leads.
As they violate the DNC list and will not (or can not) remove you from the call list - they are criminals.
Don't do business with criminal scum.

Recibes call Everest. Nobody answer

I got the number to NREC (National Renewable Energy Center)  1-877-593-2995 and called them to ask if all these numbers with prefixes of 925 439 8496  -- 925 439 8802 - 925 439 8710 - 925 439 8695 - 925 439 8661 - 925 439 8548 represented their company.  The polite and sane sounding gentleman said it was a referral company, asked for my number and assured me he will have it removed from the call list.  Interestingly, it is something the callers refused to do.

I suggest you do the same.  It is really difficult to understand how a company can allow this sort of aggravation and harassment.  Why would I ever want to do business with them?

Thanks, Marina. I used the number you provided. Again, a polite person said he would "take care of it". I'll believe it when the phone stops ringing with more calls "Pittsburg, CA". I've asked the callers at least 4 times to remove our name, but they never do!

The companies who sell the call blockers could be doing the harassing to get you to buy a blocker. If so, the plan must be working because I have one, lol.

I blocked it on my iphone and today I still got a call. Interesting my phone did not block the call even though it shows it is blocked in my call log. very annoying.

Did it work? Have the calls stopped??

Over and Over and Over and Over...different numbers, same prefix...they don't leave a voice mail, so that's a good thing....I have that in my memory to never answer..

Same as above except , I informed girl caller of who she was. Solar One..BAD Company...She made noises WHA, WHA, WHA..for 30 seconds will I informed her again of my intention to Sue..my sister received $5,000 thru a lawyer..Will get Lawyers name tonight..Can you say" CLASS ACTION"...20 calls a week..

Receiving repeated daily calls from this number.  When I try to call back, it is a disconnected number.  Please stop these harrassing daily calls.

I have the same problem; ATT advised that i could buy a service for $4.99/month to block up to 20 numbers.
