This number has called me several times in the past few days. I don't pick up and they don't leave a message. I tried calling back, but it said the number wasn't in service.

Called for daughter - a girl with people talking in the background asked for her by name

Received a call an hour ago..it got disconnected ...I rang back and no answer....!

No idea who it is but when i call back apparently the number isnt in service...

Called multiple times.  I asked what the call was regarding and I was told that it was "just a survey".  I was asked if I was going to vote and answered yes.  From that point, it seemed like a threat. "We will know if you vote or not because it is public knowledge.  You will receive something in the mail after the vote as part of a study and once again, we your voting is public record."  At that point, I told them that they had misrepresented themselves. I was told that this call was a survey and I was not asked to participate in a study and will not be participating in any study.

I keep receiving calls from this number as well. It hangs up as soon as I answer and when I call it back it says it does not exist. Based off of these comments, I emailed the company mentioned and complained. This was their response back to me:

"Sorry about the calls...I have heard about the issue a few times. The phone number calling you is an older phone number of ours when we were Dantz’s (from 6 years ago). We no longer are Dantz nor do we use or own that phone number…some magazine company does. I just wanted to email you to explain."

I got a response from the e-mail I sent & they told me it's an outfit that's now trying to sell magazines.

These callers are  SCAMS. They call all the time. DO not give them any information and you CAN BLOCK them if you have that setting.  Here are the numbers that I found to be SCAMMERS!!!! I am keeping a log and will be posting them each time they call!

This number 925-948-9469 keeps calling my house every day and will not tell me who they are.

My number is listed on the "Do Not Call," list. Yet these calls managed to get through.
I am irritated and don't know if the do not call really works.  :(

This number has called me three times a day for the past week.  I never answer, but they always call at very strange hours.  They called me at 1:00 in the morning today!  >:(

received several calls today from this number. Dantz shows up on the ID. Asked for my daughter. When I probed they hang up. It was a women.

Caller ID says "Dantz"   Caller hangs up before answering machine comes on.  Called 3 times in 3 hours.

THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!!! THESE IMBECILES ARE A PUBLIC NUISANCE!!! LET US ALL BAND TOGETHER TO CATCH THESE MORONS WHO HAVE NOTHING TO DO IN LIFE!!! THIS IS WHY THE WORLD SEEMS TO BE LOOMING WITH PSYCHOS! I HAVE HAD IT!

I kept receiving calls from another company just like this one.  It went on for months!  I asked them to stop calling me a dozen times.  Finally I contacted my local police and reported it as harrassment, they directed me to call my attorney general and report it.  I did and the next time they called back I let them know I had reported it to both my local police and attorney general and they have NEVER called back again.  If you can get the info you need from them to report to attorney general and you are on a do not call list, then they can be fined thousands of dollars.  Seems Im gonna have to do it again with Dantz because they have been calling for weeks now.   Good luck everyone.

Calls come in at the same time daily. I do not answer as I am not familiar with the company.  They never leave a message.  I assume a legitimate business call would not call at 8:45 P.M. and would leave a message.

I don't believe that is completely accurate because I have been receiving calls from this number as well and I do not have any credit cards the less Chase at that. Also I find it funny that everytime this number calls my phone and I do not pick up they do not leave a msg on my phone, they always hang up. Now I have had debt collectors call my phone before for other things such as medical and they always leave a msg.

This number has been calling my phone either really late at night or really early in the morning.

I have the same thing happening with this number they call at really bad times, either really early in the morning or really late at night, and they never leave a msg. I have had scams happen to me through the phone before, at one point I had to contact the police because they were placing threats over the phone, telling me I owed money and that if I didnt pay I was going to be arrested. Therefore now I am very cautious with phone calls coming through and here again this number seems to be a scam, I feel I am going to have to change my phone number. This is so annoying

This number keeps calling my cell phone, but won't leave a message. I know no one in the East San Franciso Bay area.
