Another "unavailable" caller.

Caller with heavy Indian accent identfied himself as the IT person for Windows on my computer. I asked him which computer? He said the one with the windows operating system. I asked who he was again and what was the name of his company.  He got angry and started to curse at me. I hung up and blocked the number.

Same as above - total scam- if you ask me!!! How do we report these kinds of scammers?

Guy with a thick Indian accent said he was calling from Tech Support America.  I asked him to take my number off his call list.  He said he was with the REAL Tech Support America and that's why he was calling.  Total SCAM!

i just received a call from 926-258-5337 with a heavy accent  stating he was tech support.  I did not give him a chance to speak and go thru his phony scam script   i just hung up. I received other calls like this apx 0ne month ago

how to we stop these scam calls  my called id stated unavailable

Attempt to steal identity. Claims to be calling from Tech America. Information about the company does not add up. No other company has this number listed anywhere which is a sign that this person is a scammer.

Oh, and I also forgot to mention that for a company to be authorized by Microsoft the phone number should be easy to find online. Plus Microsoft would not call the users directly about their computer unless the user calls first and asks or gives permission for Microsoft to call them back.

Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. Not much you can do short of getting a call blocking device or phone.

Same person called me back today only used 584-293-7557.  He left a message this time.  Exact same thing everyone else said above.  Said my computer was receiving a lot of popup messages.  Indian accent.
