Got a call from this number claiming to be a cop who was looking for my 80 yr old grandmother about an unpaid debt(she has Alzheimer's) and he threatened to have her thrown in jail if she did not fork over $700 immediately.  I told him he was required by law to give me his name and the company he worked for, along with a written debt validation letter.  He refused to provide either, and our conversation escalated into a shouting match.  He hung up the phone, and I called Lemberg and Associates(Lawyer).  They informed me this was more than likely a scam and if the person ever calls back to tell them to hold on so we could 3-way call with our attorney.  BE VERY WARY OF THIS NUMBER...do not give them any personal information or offer to give them any money.  Be very direct and threaten immediate legal recourse and they will go away.

I received a call claiming a Mark Roberts worked for Cash Net USA in their litigation department.  He had all of my information including social, references, bank information and so on...
I called Cash Net USA to verify and they claimed that they do not have a litigation department and they do NOT sue their customers.  I was two seconds away from paying him, when I decided to verify because he would not send me a letter until I gave him my bank information.

I just received a phone call from them claiming to be from Cash Net USA's litigation dept.  I told him I wanted mailed proof of this debt and he told me he could only email it.  When I asked him if he was a prosecutor or part of a collection company, he sideskirted the question and told me 'it had gone well beyond collections, and that he was going to serve me with papers in 24-48 hours for felony charges".  I got pretty loud with him and he hung up shortly afterwards.  This is most certainly a scam people!

Whoa sounds like a contest in the boiler room to see who can make the best fake post, or is it just one of you crooks? Well, the contest is still open because these last two don't even qualify!

Pay your bills and you wouldnt be getting phone calls...be part of the solution, not the problem!! It seems like u have a problem with all bill collectors.....PAY YOUR BILLS [removed:lang]!

My boss received a phone call from someone claiming they had my bank statement and that they could only locate me through the employers' number. That makes no sense at all and seems an obvious scam. For one thing, I only get bank statements online. For another, my bank statement wouldn't have the employers' phone number on it. I didn't return the call, bit I did notice that this number has been reported on several page that track phone scams.
