Received call from 928-366-2184; I answered, but no one responded on other end

No message left

This puke keeps calling says his name is Jason and is peddling a security alarm system.
I requested to not be contacted anymore and added to no call list.
Yet numb nuts continues to call me.

calling my office every day -- a law enforcement agency too -- I called them back and got a recording that said "if you would like to be placed on our do not call list, press 1.  I did.

Yup, same exact thing for me. Have heard that Jason calling from several different numbers now.

This number calls me all hours of the day and night. Called me at 9:33 last night and 7:04 this morning. He will not stop calling. While I am writing this he called again. I asked him at 7 am this morning to not call me anymore. He did any ways.

You need a call blocker.

For a land line a call blocker is an electronic box that plugs into the phone line between the phone and the wall.  You also plug it into an electric power outlet.  You program it with the phone numbers of your pests and it doesn't let them through.

For a smart phone a call blocker is an app that may come with the phone or you can download one.

For a simple cell phone ask your phone company.  Or put the pest in your contacts list and give them the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  That won't end the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

Telemarketers remove your number from one of their phone lines then (legally) call you from a different phone number.  Instead, take 30 seconds to cut & paste www.donotcall.gov (federal trade commission website) into your browser and add up to 3 of your phone numbers to the national do-not-call list, along with your email, then open the FTC email  & click the link to finalize registration.  Allow 31 days to update. DONE.

This is a RoboCall, not a real person. It tried to sell me a security system. I just hung up after I asked it a few questions and told it i'm not interested several times. The give away was that the question-response delay was consistent every time and the pitch was unnaturally consistent when I asked a question in the middle of a sentence.

Doesn't matter if they're a company based outside of the US. They don't need to listen to our laws when there's no way to enforce them.

Jason from GE Home Security is actually a scam that's being pushed by a company called JTelemarketing based out of Rawalpindi, Pakistan. They could not care any less about our laws and our do not call lists. They even go so far as to spoof local numbers to you which is illegal as well.
