Called my cell phone around 40 minutes ago.  "Caller Unknown"   Tried to call number back from land line and would not go through, went to fast busy.

automated message says it is Rachel, from Card Services, calling to lower your interest rate...press 1 to talk to an operator...so, I pressed "1" to tell them to take me off their list, and they hung up as soon as I started talking and telling them I was on the "Do Not Call" list.  JERKS! Anyway, I called the number back, and it says it has been disconnected... UGH!!! :(

Had a missed call on my cell.  Calling the number back it says "The number you have reached has been changed or disconnected.  How is this possible if I just got a call from it?  Is there any way of reporting this to the phone company?  I too am on the do not call list.

Got a call from Arizona, but when called back I get a recording that says the number has been disconnected.  I too am on DNC list, and when I tell this jerks that they laugh or curse at me and hang up.  I've even threatened to call the NC Attorney Generals office and report them...again they just laugh.  [***]!

I keep getting calls from this number (caller ID says Arizona) as well as 540-351-2874 (caller ID says Virginia)  claiming to be "card services" to lower my interest rates. I talked to them once to see who they were.  After answering a few simple questions (how much debt do you have, is your interest rate over 20%, etc...) an operator tried to switch me to a "financial specialist" to take my info (IE steal credit and bank card numbers from idiots who willingly give it over).  At that point I started asking the girl specific questions about their "programs" and said I wanted her to mail me some info to review with my accountant.  She promptly told me I was "disqualified" and would be removed from the list.  Was it that simple?  Of course not!  I still get5 calls....sometimes I let it go and there's no message. I'll call back and there is a fake error message that says the number has been disconnected and to call directory assistance.  The guy fumbles while saying this message.  I started picking up and acting like a senile old lady who sings to her cats....  They keep calling no matter how crazy i come off on the phone, so screw it.... I'll keep acting psycho to have some fun with the scumbags.

I got a call from number today, when I called back I got the message that the number had been out of service or disconnected and to check directory assistance.  Now....the funny things about the message is it was NOT a phone company recorded message! It was a man's voice on an answering machine! TOO FUNNY! So he thinks no one and hear that his voicemail or answering machine pauses  for him to record his message?

Same Card Services company that I always get calls from, I pressed 1, and responded, I'm hoping to be removed from your list.  The B replied, Oh no, that's not gonna happen and hung up on me.

928 467 4719 Keeps calling me I m not sure how I can stop them from calling me.  

I answered and they were silent then I hung up and called back and it was a guy saying same crap! Its obvious that's not the normal directory and its definitely not disconnected cuz I answered the damn call! Who are these idiots?  Area code says Arizona

Who gives these people cell phone numbers?  I'm on the "NO Calling" list!!!

I am on the do not call list.  I renewed it 4 months ago.  I still get unwanted calls.

The one from Rachel at: 928-467-4719 calls at least 3 times a week.  Is there anything else I can do to get rid of these unwanted calls?

I got 2 calls back-to-back on my cellphone. Both registered as missed calls because the sleazebags hung up before it went to voicemail. Naturally, when l called the number back, l got a recording that the number is no longer in service. I get so many of these scam calls on my landline, but they're even more intrusive on a cellphone. So sick of this! I think the only way they will stop bothering people is if no one answers their calls. Only pick up a call if you recognize the number. Don't worry about missing a call. If it's important, the person will leave a message. These sleazebags never do!

I hate getting these calls, when you can't answer and call back their phone numbers are usually disconnected or cannot receive phone calls.

The government shutdown is over, so l guess we can all now resume our complaints to the DNC Registry. Horray! God bless America!

Problem calls from this number.  No one speaks when I answer the call.

So they called and I got the woman on the line to tell me that they pay her $4k a week (40% of what they scam off of everyone). I pretended that I got what I needed (like I was tracing the line) and eventually hung up on her. She called me back directly, without the automated service, saying she had 3 minutes left on her shift and wanted to harass me. She also laughed that the numbers she uses cannot be found/traced, etc etc, and used some choice language on top of it all.

So, is it possible to contact my phone provider and have them trace where the calls really come from? I know that there are dialers, number spoofers, etc etc, but there is some physical hardware on which this all has to travel and the hops these calls make should be recorded, right? I'm considering legal action seeing that this is gone on for years and doesn't stop.

Message left on voice mail, the recording was; "Sorry The number has been changed or disconnected, consult directory, in a mens voice recording on a personal answering machine. JERKS!!!!
