- CHANTILLYThis phone number called my cell phone and I didnt answer. Called the number back and a recording came on that the number has been disconnected. In less than 1 minute it was disconnected. How can that happen??? How can a disconnected number call ????
- CornfryI just got a call from this same number. Definitely a scam. A guy with what sounded like a south Asian accent asked me if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rate to 6.9%. Well, of COURSE I do. I asked which credit card he was calling about. Apparently he represents a smorgasbord of banks, including Capital One, Bank of America, HSBC, Discover, and others. What a coincidence that I HAPPEN to have one of those very cards.
He then proceeded to ask me to give him the expiration date and the last 12 digits of my card number. If the red flags were already up, that took the cake. The first 4 digits are the bank number and are easily extrapolated by a good scammer.
Anyway, I told him "Thanks, but no thanks" and hung up on him.
BEWARE!- Caller: Scam, Inc.

- PizzleSCAM. Asked for my cc exp. date. Then gave me the run around about lowering interest rates. Then asked for last 12 digits. I laughed and said 5555 5555 5555. Hung up.

- AnnI received a call from this number telling me they could reduce my interest rate to 6.1% if I just gave them my expiration date on my cards. When I refused they hung up. I called Bank of America, as that was one card they referenced, and verified it was a scan. I then filed a complaint with the FTC.
- RobI received this call on a contract AT&T wireless phone. I don't answer,I don't call back. makes me wonder if AT&T has jumped on the same degenerate bandwagon that "Virgin Mobile" via Sprint rides. Presumably AT&T will sell your phone number to this kind of tele-huckstering style vermin too. Shame on you AT&T,shame on you!
