Calling to collect but are threatening and intimidating instead of accept what I can offer as payment. They do NOT provide and address, nor have sent me any info via mail or email.  Not giving money to someone who cannot properly identify themselves and lack professionalism.

Receiving calls daily they are calling the wrong number. I'm not answering their calls I told them several times I'm not the person they need to speak with if this continues I'm gonna seek legal action.

Per Section 804 and 806 of the FDCRA they MUST (804) identify themselves, their company being represented and (806) provide amount of alleged debt, name of creditor within 30 day period.

Under section 804 (1) of the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act) they must cease if you state that you are the incorrect person. I would get the information as to who they are, address and submit in writing that you are not the person they have listed as being w/ this number.  Writing is always the very best way.  If they give it, you can email this information.  good luck.

if this is for an apt ... i have owned my own home for almost 20 years.  are you sure this is an apt collector?  i can never get any answer when i call, terminal hold.

I answered.  I said hello a couple times.  They hung up without saying anything.  Total call time was 16 seconds.
