Looks like another newly spoofed scamming phone number.  BLOCKED!

I block one number and they just call on another number, day after day.  Has become part of my daily routine.  I'm not answering and when I check here invariably I see where others who have report it was scammers. Looks like I may have forced them to use a new number to ring my phone, but their supply is probably inexhaustible.

This number, amoung several others continues to call consumers saying that they can lower your credit card rate.  You get transfered to a "Company" that says they can help lower your interest rate, however when I attempt to request that they no longer call me anymore, they are rude, wont let you finish your comments and then you get hung up on each time.

I'm like John. I block the number (one or two new daily) and they call with a new one the next day. Grrrr.

I receive at least 3 phone calls a week from this "account services" company. Even though I have tried to ask to have my number removed per the do not call registry and blocked the calls they persist with different numbers. I reported today's call to the FTC because it was so crazy...when I remained on the line to talk with a supervisor, the representative initially answering the phone told me to shut up several times, then said shut up sexy? When the supervisor entered the conversation the representative told him I was mean to him. The supervisor introduced himself then asked me if this was true. I said no I just asked to speak to a supervisor and was told to shut up? The representative responded with she's lying several times then said liar liar. There was so much confusion, with the Supervisor apologizing, the representative repeating liar liar and the interference on the line (think it was an overseas call) I hung up and reported the situation. How crazy!

Do any of you shop or search on Craigslist??? Seems like I get these calls after doing searches on Craigslist. The days I don't look I don't get calls, the days I do look I do get calls.

Just got 2 landline calls from this number. I answered the second one that came right after the first because my elderly sister lives in AZ and the Caller ID said Welton, AZ and I thought maybe something had happened to her and someone was calling me about her. Nope, Rachael has moved to AZ for the winter. Anyway since I had answered the phone I waited for about 5 minutes to talk to someone. A male answered (where was Rachael?) and he hung up when I asked how the weather was in Arizona instead of saying I was interested in credit card reduction information. Haven't had many "spoofed" calls from Arizona but now they will probably keep coming.

Never search on Craig's list.  Never, but the number popped up from yuma AZ.   I have found a significant decrease in these types of calls when I do not answer.

Re: refinancing credit cards

I get the same type of recorded calls (stating that I can lower my credit card interest rates) very frequently.  I am on the Do Not Call List , however, they call from many different numbers.  I usually do not answer, but is still very annoying. The latest call showed up on caller id as YUMAAZ?

I have never been to Craig's list, but I also get many calls with the caller ID of "Wellton AZ".
Since I did not answer the call and they did not leave a message I do not know what type of call this was.

For [***] and giggles, I called the number back 30 minutes after rejecting the 1st call. Number miraculously not a working number. These a'holes have their game down pat. They'll rotate to another number and try calling back again.  Just refuse to answer any number you don't know. If it's important enough and not a scam, they'll leave a message.

don't even nswer the call, just ignore it. it's a pain in the ass to have to look at my phone only to find out it's a pita call.

That is the exact same way with me.  I thought if I went through their process and let them know to take me off their list... WHAT A JOKE.. they hang up on me immediately every time... letting me know they were not really legit... And I as well get continuous phone calls... I've learned when it's in the 900 range area code, it is not a personal call.  Nice way the government is taking care of the 'do not call' list, huh?  Sorry for the cynical attitude, but I am so tired of things not being taken care of like they say they will do... because I called the 'do not call' number and gave them both of my phone numbers.  Actually did it more than once, probably about a year apart.... thinking my number had been 'dropped' through an error.  We just have to fend for ourselves here....

I never use Craig's List and I get calls multiple times each week.. every week.  So Craig's List has nothing to do with it

Called a bit ago. I answered and put my phone on speaker. Nothing , zip, zero nada.

These scammers are a plague on humanity

got a call about lowering my credit card rates, told them I don't have any credit cards and they immediately hung up
