They called claimed there was problems with my security on computer and asked if I was at my computer!

they called and I didn't pick up. Die scammers!

Called and asked if I was having problems with my computer and asked for control over my computer since I had "viruses".

Called, left no message. Caller ID reads "New York, NY"

I have had people calling and asking for control of my computer insisting I need to, it is imperative to stop those trying to get into my computer.I laughed and called them scammers.They called from 1-929-251-8306

Called several times. I don't answer calls that I do not recognize. Caller i.d. says 24X7PHEALTH. 929-251-8306.

Man called with very heavy accent from 929.251.8306.  Said my computer was reporting problems and wanted to know
if I was sitting at my computer and he wanted access to it.  told him no and he insisted, i turned the call over to a superior and he told her the same story.  She said no way are you getting into my computer and hung up hung on him.  Relentless little
bugger.

Third time they've called in the last few weeks.  They leave no message.  Caller ID says 24xPCHealth.  Even if I wasn't in IT, I wouldn't trust a call like this to care for my computer.

A man with a very heavy accent called me from this number, told me that my computer was giving out error messages. Decided to talk/play with him and followrd his directions. I actuallly wasnt doing anything on the computer. I didn't even turn it on! Anyways, I finally decided to just hang up. Cheeky little bugger.

Like others, someone with a heavy Indian (Asian) accent called to tell me that my computer was reporting problems, and if I gave him access to my PC he could fix them.

Asked him if people were really stupid enough to believe his BS (I did not use the initials). Then I hung up.

"James" called - has a heavy accent - said my computer security wasn't "backing up."  I asked him where he was from and he said New Jersey.  I asked him his company name and he made up some bogus name, like "Quik Secure."  I asked if he could see that my computer wasn't backing up all the way from New Jersey and he said yes, so I asked what kind of computer I have.  He said "You have a Windows computer."  I told him there is no such thing as a "Windows computer" and to scam someone else.  I slammed down the phone.

"James" immediately tried to call me back.  I didn't speak to him the second time, just picked up the phone and hung it back up immediately.

called me a few minutes ago and told me my win7 machine was crashing their server and bla, bla, bla.  I simply asked him for the IP address of the offending machine and he hung up.

Received a call from 929-251-8306. Caller ID read 24X7PCHealth.  Caller wanted me to run EVENTVWR in my computer.  I asked for his call back # and he refused to give it to me. I asked again and he would not give it so I refused to help him and had to end the call abruptly.

The call from 24X7PCHealth just came in at 11:53 a.m. MST - I did not answer.  They left no message on the recorder.  Caller ID provided the number 929-251-8306.  I do not answer these kinds of calls but check sites like this to get more information.  Sounds to me like others have found a great deal more and I appreciate knowing more.

Called me today and I answered just for kicks,  Woman, barely speaking English, asked me to go to my computer, that I have security problems,  I decided to toy with her and asked her all kinds of questions and she couldn't figure out how to follow her script with my questions.  I heard her speaking to someone in her native tongue and in short order they just hang up.  I remember making her spell the name of the outfit she represented, but now, a couple of hours later, I cannot recall what it was.  This number will go on my no call list - my panasonic phone is capable of blocking 250 numbers...best buy I've ever made!

I got the phone call as well, it came up as 24x7PCHealth, heavy accented guy told me I had security problem he needed to fix,  Ha, Ha  heard that before, how do they pick those of us to prey upon???

received a call stating there was an error msg on my computer.  I told the lady I had no computer, which is true.  My computer died about 6 weeks ago.  She said, "am I speaking with Susan?" I said that was my name but I HAD no computer.  She thanked me and hung up.  

Caller ID Came up VIII01958190   / (929) 251-8306  - Couldn't understand what this Indian guy was saying regarding his "name" and "who he was with"  - said my computer was reporting an error and he could help me fix it.    I asked him about 5 times who he was with, what he represents - etc....   all kinds of computers, windows operating systems and blah blah - that's about all I could understand.   Told him "nice try - our computer isn't on."    Total Scam.
