Called and left a message that the irs is filing a case against me! Left a callback number will not be returning call definitely a scam

This was a robo call from a NYC attorney asking questions about if you served on a jury in the past 5 years. How do you feel about certain laws in the criminal courts.

Called here today twice already.  They call several times a day and leave a message but can only hear one word then they are done.  This has been going  on for weeks. Don't recognize number so I don't answer. Can't tell them to stop,can't talk to a machine.

I do not ever answer from a caller that does not have a caller ID nor a number I do not recognize !!!
These morons let the phone ring and ring and ring...I refused to pick up....(today) .I don't even have the answer machine pick up.....I called the number back and it said the Google caller was not available and please leave a message.....for those of you saying it some attorney calling you about jury duty, well, believe me when I say it was no attorney asking any such thing !!!!!  Most attorneys are way to busy for nonsense like that.....its your typical moron calling who can't find a real job !!

Thanks for  the  heads up . Didn't  waste the $ to  pick up this 'name unknown" number, rang 8 times.. Will add to   "block list" at  TW.The first unanswered call today  was going to  be " who pays my electric  bill",  also   thanks  to  this site.

called twice daily, for a week.  Threatened an IRS investigation, next day asked about jury duty

Same here if I don't recognize the caller.... I don't answer. I check here to see what others say to verify my suspicions.
Scammers of some sort. Its none of their business weather I served on a jury or who pays my electric bill. They can go fan their a$$.

Caller hung up when answering machine kicked in.
We are on the DO NOT CALL Registry, which seems to be useless.

Call their bluff and tell them go ahead. Their just scammers using scare tactics.
