Have received 3 calls from this number in the past 2 days. This is apparently another moron unfamiliar with speech since my Answering Machine never hears a coherent word from him/her/it. So NOW the Moron will be given to my Call Blocker!  Three Strikes; you are Out!

Caller ID says SSI, hang up with no message

I called it back, it's an independent research organization called SFI that wants you to take a survey.

Caller ID shows Columbia, TN, but when answering the call, all you get is a beep, as in a recording machine.  If this was supposed to be a sales pitch or survey, a recording machine is not the way to go.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list, both Federal and State, and as a Federal employee with who has never had a late payment, this had better not be a debt collector constantly calling.  There is no way that this is legit for this number to constantly be phoning my phone and never leaving a message or responding when I do answer.

Have received calls from this number the last several days and have not answered. They called at 8:40 p.m. this evening and I answered only to hear a beep. I hung up right away.

This is getting to be extremely annoying!

Just got it at 2:33pm

Says SSI, you answer and hear a beep, then nothing.

Maybe it's a debt collector trying to see if a number is legitimate?

Called twice today.  I picked up the second time.  Caller ID says "SSI".  Hello....Hello....Why do you call if you don't want to talk to me???  Then they hung up.   Why bother people at 8:30 at night if you are going to be silent.

This number has been blocked, Can't talk to me, don't call back!

SSI survey/market research company. I found their website, and there are two ways they list to opt-out of receiving calls from them in the future. I'm not sure how legit it is, or if it'll just add your number to a list of numbers TO keep calling lol

You can call or email them to opt out, but like I said I'm not sure of the legitmacy or efficacy of it.

I get this call all the time and it is crazy they will call at 8 pm every night ..or later...

Amen!!!  The same moron must be calling me.  Aren't we lucky...
