Sales call stating he had received my number from an associate that had made a recent purchase.  When I declined I was told "shut up, sit down and get your pencil ready".  Then the aquaintance who supposedly referred me called and said he had the exact same experience but that I was the referring person.  Caller ID lists the number to Western Tool and Safe.

Yes,  I had the same experience with this man.  He called back in October 2011 and was very rude, then.  He called again this morning and asked to speak with our Operations Manager, and when  told he was not available, he asked--Do I detect an attitude?  What's with the attitude?  When he was told I had no attitude, he went on to say I thought I detected an attitude.  I chuckled, shrugged it off and politely hung up the phone.   A google search also determined it was a call from Western Tool and Safe out of Columbia, TN.  A call to their states's Attorney General's Office might be in order.

Called asking for the owner by name, told he wasn't in and I could take a message. He asked for his cell number (which I can only give to clients) I asked who he was and all he would say is Steve. I asked who he was with and he said Construction supply. I informed him that we do not give cell numbers out to telemarketers. He proceeded to call back 3 times in a row acting like an idiot. Yep, thats a great way to earn someones business. BAER

I too have received calls from this number. Approx. 2 to 3 times a week for the last 2 weeks.Very beligerant to say the least. Wants info on my supervisor, email, cell phone. When you tell them you cant give that info out he becomes very argumental. Very rude, if I could reach through the phone I would smack him in the mouth!! I usually end up hanging up because he just wants to keep arguing and asking me why ( I ) am so rude to him. Next time I am going to ask for his cell phone number and call him 3 or 4 times a day....JERK!!
