I just got a call from that number. I've been getting a lot of strange calls, how is this happening?

They call but wont say anything..want it to stop!

Vehicle warranty scam. Tried to call it back. "We're sorry, this promotion is over but instead you can have a $100 gift card. For Walmart press 1. For whatever place press 2. And so on" Then to be removed from call list press 4. But I've heard that before. These people have been calling me for over a year since I paid my car off. I've answered maybe twice and told them to stop! Not interested. Won't stop, call from different numbers. I keep blocking. Hitting the number to be removed does nothing. Only thing you can do is block it!

Caller id says "Web Ranking" and is a different number from other calls from same name.  Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  This is ridiculous.  Multiple calls from multiple scammers every day so being on do-not-call list apparently means nothing.

Called at 1:45 this afternoon but as usual when we don't recognize a number, we didn't answer.  No message.

Got a call from them about an hour ago.ID just says Dayon, Texas so didn't answer.

Just received it too, this is yet another "Cold Call" to be entered into my 'PhoneTray' list to be blocked!

Yes, says "Web Ranking" so the victim will be fooled into thinking it is some kind of legitimate survey exempt from the national Do Not Call list. Report, report, report.

Caller I.D. said Dayton TX. I didn't pick up and they left no message.

Same Thing over and over

It means something alright, it means that you're getting calls from those with evil intent, or other factions unaffected by the DNC registry, like scammers, fundraisers, surveys, debt collectors, and political. Without it, you most likely would getting hassled even worse. Legitimate telemarketers abide by it while scammers could care less.

Robo call from GE security systems, or some such.

Got a call from 936-367-4087 while I was shopping.  Checked the phone, did not recognize the number, thought "well, screw them" (lol) and did not bother to answer as it would be a total waste of my time.  Not going to scam me.

Caller ID displayed Dayton, Tx, recorded message stated they are from " GE Security " installing security alarm.  Blocked # and do not call.
