Not certain. They call everyday, multiple times.

The number is for GE Money - they claim to be a finance company. The caller was foreign and requested my account number. I told him I don't have an account with them. He insisted that I give him my account number. I advised him that since he had my number and called ME that he should have access to my "account" through that number. He wouldn't give me any other information so I hung up on him.

I don't know these people but don't talk to them. He tried to bully me but I'm a bill collector so he wasn't going to win with me!

Calls early in the morning and throughout the day.  They call and hand up when I answer.  Please Help!

multiple calls, 3-4x per day.  It is GE moneybank, they are a collection agency.  the reps are located in India.  They call my fax line constantly until i have to disconnect the fax and answer the phone.  The one calling me is looking for a person I never heard of.  at first I politely explained that the person they were looking for I had never heard of and the number they were calling is a fax line I have had for 4 years.  The calls stopped for about a month then started up again.  Again, (although not so politely) I explained to the rep (same one)the circumstances an d again requested he not harrass me.  Now they are calling again, I spoke to 2 of their reps, they refused to give me a manager, the name of a manager or an address of GE moneybank that I could write and complain.  I am now going to contact the state atty general and see what can be done.

you can call phone company ask if you have call block if you do follow the instruction and they wont get through

They also are the financing source behind credit cards issued for Dick's Sporting Goods and LensCrafter.

All you have to do when ANYONE keeps calling you and you don't want to hear from them, bill collector or not, send them a certified letter asking them not to call you, your family, your work or your friends ever again. Tell them to contact you in writing. Tell them if they call you again, you are going to record their call and report them. You then can sue them for harassment if they ever call you again. Tell them that is exactly what you are going to do. There are links on the internet of places that will sue harassing bill collectors for you. GE Money is a bill collector for Care Credit and also if you have a paypal mastercard, it is through GE Money.

How can you have them block the number?

These people keep calling and i believe they're calling me from india.  They call 5 times a day for the past 3 days now and i just don't answer.  They call me as early as 6am and as late as 3am.  They need to learn their "world time" so they don't call at unreasonable times of the day.  I would really appreciate it if they don't call me on Sundays.  It's very annoying!

Yea this number is GE Money-bank, they call me 6 times a day ,everyday, and as early as 4 AM.  These people fill up my voicemail everyday, I think I will have to change my number.  I continually tell them to never call me again, but no luck.  I understand they want more money but a simple letter will do fine.  I mean, really, these guys are beyond harassing.

they are known as GEMB. located in elpaso texas. I will list the address below. They are behind numerous credit cards, home loans,credit protection and sales financings agencies. They outsourced for their collection needs as many of the companies have now done. I get calls for someone I do not even know. I requested that they cease and decist or legal action will take place. They have not called back. the info I have researched is below. I also listed the stores they do financing for. Hope this helps someone.

this number calls various times all week long and no one ever leaves a message or says anything when we answer the phone,,this is very annoying,,i hope there is something i can do to stop the annoying calls,as i do not have any charge cards,,,thank you,,

GE Moneybank.  In my case, it is for a Brakes Plus credit card.

They called me, I called them back, they said they were GE bankers in an indian voice and needed my account number. The phone call came from Ohio and i knew there weren't that many indian people in ohio or none at all. When I said that I didn't have an account number, they asked for my social. i knew it was a scam when they asked for my account number and it only verified it when they asked for my social. Don't trust these guys, they're using a telephone scrambler so that they can't be tracked by one number in order to throw off caller IDs. if they call you more than once, report them however possible.

They are GE money, a debt collection co. - they use several phone numbers, this one and 800-292-7508, 949-892-4903, 937-534-2160. 651-286-5013.  The call IS from India.  You can't understand any of them because of their accent.  We are in a debt consolidation program and they want to us to make a payment rather than a settlement through our program.  I just add the number to my cell phone and mark is "no ring."   They stop for a few weeks and then they start again, usually coming up on my caller ID as unavailable.  As well, I never answer a phone number that I do not recognize.

They are calling me and harassing me. I am planning on reporting them.

they call my house every day also i dont answer any calls unless there is a name on my caller id , but they are awful the amount of time s they call and late hours also almost 9.00pm at night start calling 7.008am i find it very distressing,
