this number called today. The caller ID showed OUR home number.......what the hell is up with that??

Tell he's from Microsoft that I had a problem with my computer.  I told him that I know it was a fraud.  Call me back 5x times.  Death treats’.  He told me he's from India he will come to kill me .... BEWARE Crazy person! HANG-UP!

Called today and said that we had called asking for help with microsoft windows... I told him we do not have windows running at our house, he hung up. Had an accent. ( sounds asian)

Keeps calling, I ignore, and they don't leave message. Annoying!

call any the time never leaves message i call back and all i hear is No Routing Found.
they need to stop calling they also use different numbers all which have 555 in them

Called, left a 1 second message that said nothing.
Very annoying.

Caller said I was Daniel . I said he had the wrong number, then asked me my name and I told him it doesn't matter I'm not Daniel. He sounded foreign, Indian I think. Started talking nonsensical. I hung up. I wouldn't even have answered because it came up as directory assistance al. Never been there or know anybody there but my nephew answered and he said some crazy guy was on the phone. Getting a ton of spoofed numbers over the last few days.

Claiming to be from the "Microsoft Service Department". This is a well known type of scam.  The chap was very optimistic and continued (I had time to spare - let him waste his time and money) despite telling him I KNEW it was a scam.    Hilarious.

At least 7-8 times a day with these 555 #s all different area codes all last four #s start with 01. All 555 #s from 0100-0199 in the us and Canada are designated for film and tv. Probable foreign entities probing our infrustructor it to do harm. My guess at least. Since this all started only a few days ago.

this man with foreign voice said he was calling from Microsoft windows to fix a reported problem with my computer. I told him I do not own a computer (which is a lie) and he abruptly hung right up!

Husband and I both got calls on our cell phone from this number claiming to be "US BANK" stating our check cards on a joint account had been frozen and please give them all of the card info to reactivate. LOL. The bank would surely have this info themselves if they were the issuers. Are people really stupid enough to fall for this crap?

Call came up: Directory Assistance Alabama- Since this is a business phone, I answered it. There was a bunch of static on the line and no one said anything. I usually don't give them much time to say their spill....I have had a lot of the "Microsoft calls" described like above. Always an Indian man trying to convince me he is my computer calling and there is a problem with it....cracks me up! I always ask them how many stupid people believe their computer is calling them and it has an Indian accent! They hang up then.

Call ID said Pueblo, CO Dir Asst - and 719 is Pueblo, CO area code - I am looking for work in Pueblo and have several applications out, so I answered.  It was an Indian man telling me that he was calling to tell me that as a Windows user some infectious information was being downloaded to my computer whenever I went on line.  I told him, "I have no idea who you are or where you are calling from and I will not give you any information."  He hung up.

Foreign talking female said my computer was receiving threatening emails. I said I don't believe you. I hung up.

Caller identified themself as Jennifer from Microsoft. Said my PC has been sending them alerts of a virus. I told "Jennifer" that I have been on vacation and my PC has been off for a week. She then disconnected. See now that is it scam. She had an Indian accent and there was a bad echo on the line. Called at 7:30am EST.

These numbers call us all the time, that  Franky  has listed above,  and leave no message. Thanks to the people on this site  for letting us all know who it is and what they want.

I got a call just an hour ago from this number, and they DID leave a recording.  It was a rather stern sounding woman who told me - on no uncertain terms!!!! - that I had to call because this was an important matter involving debt collection.  Ha! Ha!  Right.  We don't have any unpaid debt of any kind.  I have some balances, but all are current and being paid.  No student loans.  No unpaid hospital bills.  No old written off debt for me or my husband. It is either an error, or somewhere in my distant past, my identification was compromised OR just a transposition of a number or something weird.  I just know I am not going to waste my valuable time pursuing any mistakes or trying to figure out what scam they are running.  I am just not ever - EVER - going to answer the calls or call them back.  This is the advice on this site for other similar type numbers.  That, and purchasing a call blocking device.
