the # 940-488-9812 showed up on my cell screen.  they did leave a voice mail saying they were with US Bank and my $20,000.00 was approved.  Now it gets good, they left an area code  707 (Northern CA) number on my voice mail to call back to confirm my loan.  The woman calling had a very heavy accent.

I received a call from them that I have been approved for a loan. They told me to take 182.00 with me to. Western union and I have to get a card to put the money on.

They are scamming people

Things to remember about loans offered by phone or e-mail:

Loans
1.    No reputable lender will lend you money over   the   phone.
2.    No reputable lender will lend you money by e-mail
3.    On-line lenders are nothing more than conduits for another loan scam.
4.    Advance fees for loans are always illegal.    At  least in   most    American states.
5.    If   you want to borrow money,   go to an established brick and mortar   lender that has been around awhile.
6.    If you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either a.  threatening you or b.  offering you something, you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
7.    These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history.  If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information.  They know who they are calling.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and sometimes  members of the immigrant community.   Also,  those who might be in financial difficulty.

I received this call with a message saying I've been approved for a lian up to 10,000. I called back to ask who they were and was told USBank. When I told them I've never applied for a loan they guy said someone must have done this on my behalf. Then said he couldn't give me any into. When I asked "when" this was done he said 2 days ago. I asked how he knew thud when he never even asked who he was talking to. He then hung up

I got a call from this number. It was a man with a heavy accent telling me that I had been approved for a $30,000 dollar loan. He never asked if it was really me.
