Recieved a phone call from 941-209-1239. I answered the phone. The person started out by telling me that the call was being recorded,then the person said they were calling on behalf of the Florida sheriff and police association. As I told him that I wasn't interested he continued to talk over me. I called the number back after I hung up and the person answered hello instead of the company that they supposedly calling from. Probably the same person arrested last year scamming people out of money saying Florida sheriff and police.

This just called me from this number, told me it was being recorded for quality assurance and that he was calling on behalf of the sheriff and police association.  He said he would send me a kit and I said I would call him back and he said no I can call you later and I repeated that I wanted to call him back and he just said "um".  I hung up.

Have received several calls, about once a day between 4-6pm. I never answer, and thought I would post here just to show it's still happening. Thanks to the others' comments above...helpful.

After reading the posts here, I blocked the number. I never answered, but they have been calling multiple times a day. They never leave a message either.

Speak of the devil just put the # in this website to file complaint and guess who just called again. Today is Sunday it is now 7:47 PM,,,, I thought no police agency or association may solicit and is illegal.

Just received 2nd call from this number tonight.  Got one also earlier in the week.  I always check caller ID and in principle never pick up if I don't recognize the number or name.  I figure that if it's important, they'll leave a call back number.  99 out of 100 times they never do.  

Just came home to find a missed call from this number (Sunday 8:02 PM) but no message. When I tried calling back, I heard a recorded message saying, basically, that they were closed, what their office hours were, and that they would like a call back when they are open. At the very end of the message, I received the option of leaving a "very detailed message" if I wanted to be placed on their Do Not Call list. Ever since registering my phone number with the government do not call list, I have been receiving REGULAR spam phone calls. :(

No "sheriff/police association" would be calling from a cell phone. It's a SCAM!

This number has called my home phone, which I use for business, twice now. No message left. Very annoying that they call after 8PM!!!

I am getting these calls about 4-6pm same as SJ I know where these calls are coming from because of mrnumber and the only reason I downloaded the app is because of them.

Someone needs to auto-dial this piece of phlegm to oblivion. Had the trash blocked for a week, still calls. Duh! No money here imbecile!!

No idea how they got my number (considering this is a brand new number and ive only given it to my mom, but they call 4 times a day, every day. Getting really annoying now.

Why are you people who are getting numerous calls, not simply blocking the number.
