I also got a call from this number about 2 hours ago. I didn't answer, and following the advice from some bloggers on this site, I turned off my answering machine. That way the caller only gets a 'constant' ring, and can't verify that it is a "working" number, since with a machine or voice-mail the scammer knows it is a "LIVE one" and will continue to call. Some numbers, I've auto forwarded to another annoying telemarketer's fax machine. I'm not sure if by call forwarding, or call blocking, they can still determine that the number is good. I just don't know how that works?

POLICE OFFICERS ARE NOTHING BUT BADGED THUGS

Called us...no message...tired of this...do they actually think after badgering us with these unwanted calls that we would actually buy anything they have to sell or hire their service???

Call came in at dinnertime, no message left. Assumed telemarketer. Blacklisted, goodbye.
