I continue to receive calls from this number.  The caller NEVER leaves a message.  

I have received calls from this number, also.  No messages left either.  No clue who it is.  Caller ID only says Florida

Received call this morning from this number.  Answered and caller identified himself as ASE Corporation.  When I asked what ASE stood for, he responded he "didn't know" and it was kind of like "GTE" and "UPS" with just letters.  I advised that I was continuing to receive calls from this number even though I requested that my phone number be removed from the call list.  The caller indicated he would let his "manager" know so the number could be removed.

recent articles at better business bureau, scam busters dot com and the fiscal times dot com indicate that there is a new scam that telemarketers and scammes are using. They are now using the spoofed numbers of regular people.....anyone who has a telephone number, small local businesses, friends or neighbors of the targeted phone call. The articles also state that the scammers have figured out that householders will not pick up the phone if they have checked and determined that the number in the caller ID is spoofed. By using the phone numbers of regular people and regular businesses (there have already been reports of "florists", "childcare centers" and elderly people randomly calling lots of different householders. The scammers are hoping to trick the householder into picking up the phone. Another new scam according to the better business bureau is for the scammer to call the target phone number.....using the householder's own phone number in the caller ID. The idea is to pique the householder's curiousity (or shock them) into picking up the phone to see why their own phone number is displayed the caller ID. The BBB warns against picking up these calls, but if you do.....do not press any buttons if you get a recorded message instructing you to do so. If you missed the call, do not call the number back and
do not give out any financial or personal identifying information

I keep getting calls from this number 1-941-445-4565... when I answer, they hang up, when I dont answer, they dont leave voicemail.. its annoying. I get at least 1 call a day from them.  Says FLORIDA in the caller ID  Wish they would stop calling

I keep receiving calls from this unknown business, nothing more than "Florida" shows up on my caller ID..and they never leave a message. I continue to get similar calls from other numbers who also never leave messages..what is the deal? What do they get out of calling you and not speaking..can someone inform me?
