Calls but never leaves message

Same as other poster.  Calls, but no message.

Phone rings but there is no message left (same as all previous posts). Caller ID indicates it is from Sarasota, Florida?

Calls but not there and leaves no message

We, too, get calls from them looking for someone who does not live here.  I have written them letters and now just send back any correspondence we receive.  When we receive any calls from them we simply "HANG UP".
It is very annoying but since this IS Florida,,,,,why would we expect any help regarding this matter.

If you receive a call from 941-684-1710, then call there local number at 941-927-6999 (Gulf Coast Collection Bureau), and they will remove your number from their list as they are most likely looking for someone who no longer lives at that address. They were polite and responsive and removed my number after talking to them

Same problem with phone number 941 684 1710. VERY RUDE!!

This company always calls, never leaves any messages, they were calling from the number 941-806-0569 originally...I tried calling this number and it no longer exsist, which makes me kind of wonder how legit this company really is....I mean c'mon they are a collection agency... are they one of those fly by nighters..? Anyway, until they answer my calls when I call them...they can kiss my ever loving backside when it comes to answering them when they call here ! Bite Me Gulf Coast Collections, I hope that someone from your agency reads these boards, here's a message to pass onto your wealthy President and founder Jack Brown and the other execs who are overpaid as well.....tell some of these hospitals and doctors offices who have to end up using your services to start collecting some money from them damn illegals who never end up paying a cent to them instead of us over-paying insurance covered people who suffer because of these tick-turds..! Sorry for the rant....I AM SO TIRED OF IT ALL, AND AM SO PISSED OFF..! By how all of this political B.S. works.....screw the middle class,give the illegals a pass....and those who are wealthy good for them,they never suffer financially..! I'm just a bad person who cannot afford to be healthy..!

This number called me today and it went to my voicemail (on a cell).  The message stated who they were looking for and that if I wasn't that person to hang up (can't, it went to voicemail).  It then left a 4 minute message for this other person to call their office.  When I called back to tell them they had the wrong number, they said since I hadn't hung up when the recording told me to, I must be that person.  HELLOOOO - it went to a voicemail - I couldn't have hung up.

Can we say cease and desist?

If they call and disrupts your family by hanging up, you can call 941-957-6403 tell them "every time Jack's compnany computer calls me and hangs up, I will call you and hang up", then hang up. That is his family's number and you can disrupt them. If we all do this maybe they will change their business practices.

This number call my cell all day everyday. It goes to my voice mail.  The message stated who they were looking for and that if I wasn't that person to hang up, which I can not possibly do since it goes to voice mail. They left a 5 min. prerecorded message for this other person to call their office. Which I get charged for. Tried to have the number block and can not. When I called back to tell them they had the wrong number, they said since I had not hung up when the recording told me to, I must be that person, and that I am liable for the debt, but would not give me any information because they have nothing with my name it. So, I gave them the name that they leave on my voice mail and they still would not give me any info because I did know the date of birth of that person. Argued forever. Begged to have my number removed. I still get the calls all day everyday, now I pick up and hang up. At least I'm not being charged for the messages tey leave.

This number called my cell phone today. I was sleeping so I missed the call and it went to voicemail. When I got up I called my voicemail and the message stated who they were looking for (Shirey L. Johnson) or (Shirey L. Jackson) not sure which and that if I wasn't that person to hang up (can't, it went to voicemail). I'm a man so I'm obviously not the woman they are looking for. After reading these messages I home them don't start bombing my cell just because they have the wrong number (IDIOTS).

This person has left over 100 messages on my message machine over the last year. The last time I reported something like this the company had to pay a $10,000 fee. I am hopeful this person will too.

Hate to sound rude, but who on this site care when the company was founded and who the president is? Are we trying to write a Wikipedia article?

When I was turned over to them (for something id theft related), I was impressed not to get the BS that these other agencies give. Very professional!

I think the purpose of who the company and president are is so that you can bombard him with phone calls as well.  Good Idea, I think I will look him up in Sarasota and just call and hang up.

got call from these guys, no message. Looked up online and called the alternate # for the collection agency. Very professional. They quickly removed my number from their system. End of story. I hope.
