Just received a call regarding "my computer".  The first thing I heard was a phone ringing which indicated to me that it was one of the robo calls when a person doesn't answer until the dummy at home picks up.  The next thing I hear is "he's calling today about my computer".  He had a heavy Indian accent.  Told him "nice try" and hung up.

This number called me at 9:36am, 10:09am, 12:23pm 2:33pm, 2:34pm, & 3:12pm, caller never left a voicemail = possibly a robo-dial spoofing the caller ID.  There's no answer when you call back the number.

Received a call from this number, when I answered I heard a ringing tone as if I was the one who made the call, red flag, when a man picked up he said that he was calling about my computer (I think he said something about a Mac, which I don't have). I told him I'd not had any problems and my virus database is up to date, then hung up.  I've added the number to my reject list, but they are still calling, I've had 3 calls so far.

I received 2 calls from someone who sounded as a resident of a foreign country.  On the first call he identified himself
as being from Microsoft.  On the second call he was from |Window XP".  Told me there had been alerts regarding my
computer and if I went to my computer he would tell me how to fix it.  I never acted on these calls.

Just also received a call from this number saying he was with Microsoft and has been informed through a satellite that my computer operating system has been compromised with a virus. He was foreign and hard to understand but he wanted me to sit down to my computer and allow him to walk me through the steps to remove the virus. Sure, I will let a total stranger do this . . . NOT!!! Beware do not take this call as it is definitely a scam!!

3 times today I have been called by this number. All from Middle Eastern men named "Mike" and "Chris". My Windows computer has been compromised, even though I own a Mac and my cell phone # is not linked to it. On the 3rd call, I asked EXACTLY what we were going to do about the "problem", and he asked me to "sit in front of my computer and trust me". Evil [***]

I have gotten 6 calls so far from this number today. Starting at 3:47 pm, 5:41,6:20,6:22, 6:22, 7:05. The first time I answered it was a male with a heavy Indian accent. He told me he was calling from Microsoft about my computer having an error. When I told him I don't have a PC he said " that's impossible, how do I have your number in the computer system?" I replied that someone gave him the wrong number. Then he hung up. And I began receiving calls from him. When I answer there is nothing on the line.

It's more than a scam. These people are most probably criminals. They want you to go to a website and download their "virus removal software" when in reality they are actually introducing malware onto your computer. I had a similar call about a year ago. I told them I would report them to the FBI ( which I did - there's a form you can fill in on the site ). After that, I received no more phone-calls from this Indian gentleman until today when he started trying the same stuff. I repeated that I would report him to the FBI. Hopefully, the FBI can catch up with him / them and prosecute.

I received a call from this number, which then rang to an individual.. He stated that he was calling from Windows and we had an error message coming through. He said we accidentally downloaded something from social  media or gaming. I immediately googled the number and saw these posts. I told him that we didn't do any of that and that I just googled his number and it was pretty clear this was  a scam. He hung up on me faster than crap,

I didn't recognize the number and it said someplace in FL I picked up because i have a nephew there and then it sounded like a couple of phone rings on their end.  I figured it was a robocall transferring to someone there when anyone picks up the phone.  I disconnected right away.  Now I read this and I'm glad this website exists to check on this scammers.

Guy has called me the past 2 mornings 7:50, 7:30 & again at 9:30. I called Microsoft about it. They said they would never make calls tell people your computer is sending a error message. It's a scam. Microsoft said that the people calling were probably trying to download malware to my computer. When the 3rd call came in, I listened to the guy for a few minutes. When he started to tell me a website to go to, I lit into him that he wasn't putting malware onto my computer & that I had already called Microsoft. He got very rude & told me not every call is a scam. I ask him if he knew so much information about my computer & the signals it was sending. What brand was it & what version of windows was it running. Of course he didn't know! All 3 times I told him I was reporting them to the attorney generals office!

Upon answering, there was a 'ring' to a secondary phone line. The caller answered and stated she was from Microsoft. I stated that my number is on "do not call" lists. She continued...Strong india n accent. She said there were warnings on my computer and I needed to go to my computer and type in what she said.
I told her I had a pen/paper and I'd write down what she says. she said that wouldn't work. I asked her for her name and phone number and she hung up. Previously, This number, 941-731-1222,  has called:
