I received a call today the lady stated that she was with Yellow Pages and had provided services for 2 years and wanted to invoice me for payment.  I told her I was unaware of any services provided and that I had not authorized it.  I ask for a copy of a signed contract and that the phone call was being recorded and she hung up on me.  I tried to return the call from my caller ID, and the number is invalid.  She could call in on the number, but you cannot return the call.  This is a scam!

A woman with a British accent tried to tell me that my husbands business was going to be billed $599 for a 2 yr online yellow page listing.  I know that we did not authorize this.   She said I could view the listing online, which I tried and there is no listing for our business.  I told her that I wanted proof that this was authorized by my husband at which time she said she would forward my request to the corporate office.  That was that.  I tried to call the number back when I realized that there was, in fact, no listing online for our company.  I got a recording that said the number was out of service.

Got the "yellow pages" call as well.

Unfortunately, I fell for the "verifying information" part of the call, but when they started saying they were sending an invoice, I told them not interested and I will not pay them anything. Brit lady got nasty, saying it would go to collections. Fat chance on that - like a scammer will take legal action or start collections proceedings? On what grounds, a doctored tape from a call done between two cell phones? This is an outright scam. They are pulling information from YellowPages.com (in this case inaccurate information that has never been removed) and playing their game that way.

They used to pull this by mail, and at the bottom of the "invoice" it stated in tiny letters "Not affiliated with The Yellow Pages TM. This is not a bill." So I guess now they move to phones because so many people can READ! LOL

I checked 941.932.4045 on line after not picking up the phone. They hung up when the machine answered. They'll call back, so now I'll give them a piece when they do. After wasting their time letting them talk, I'll connected via conference call to our yellow page rep. Can't wait.

Please DO NOT fall for this SCAM!!!!!  They keep calling and we NEVER authorized service through them.  The key to their name is the ONLINE part.  They are Yellow Pages Online and NOT simply Yellow Pages!  Do not authorize them to send a bill for $599.  They'll sick corporate on you...So scared!!  Or as shesherre stated "collections"  what a joke.  They won't even take you off of their calling list.  And as mentioned by Trish....their # is invalid or not able to receive calls.  I don't understand how the can have outgoing calls then but at least I truly have their #!!

Wow, what a joke. And while we are all smart enough to be annoyed and know better, what about the few people who may fall for this? There are prob. a few people who would be intimidated by this garbage and feel pressured or worried enough to pay it. Too bad we can't get ahold of them enough to file complaints/some type of criminal charges should be made. I had the same encounter; stating I would have never auth. such an expenditure nor did I recall having ANY contract w/ them. But, not to worry- she'll have the 'corporate' office follow-up w/ me. That actually would be really fun! I'd love for them to call me and try to further collect if only for the sport of it :)~

Received a call from these folks about 6 months ago. Different phone number but same scam. Telling us it was time to renew our yellow pages online subscription (which we don't have and have never had). And that if we choose not to renew we have to pay the past due amount.
I confronted the lady right away this time, because I have already been around and around with these folks in the past. Everytime I pointed out that I knew this was a scam, she just kept on talking and asking questions like she didn't hear me. I finally just asked to be taken off their list and hung up on her.

A woman with a British accent just called me, to "renew" my online yellow pages ad, that I never signed up for or heard of.  She claimed that the account was opened 2 years ago and that I need to renew and that they would send me a bill. I clearly stated "I never signed up for anything.  This must be a scam.  Don't call me again.", and I hung up.  Then I Google 941-932-4045 and I found this forum.  So glad that I didn't fall for it.

I just received a BILL from these people. Yellow Pages 365 Online. They are not the real yellow pages I have a contract with! Going to fight them.

The talked to me several times and had me convinced they were AT&T Yellow Pages. The bill and phone number verifies they are a scam.

Got this call this morning.  Asked if we wanted to renew our on-line listing.  When I said no she went on about sending a confirmation letter of the cancellation, would put us on their no-call list, send us an invoice to close the account, etc. etc.  All very fast and smooth.  (A real account rep would never have taken a No answer so quickly. They always try to talk you into renewing.)  As soon as she said $599 and kept talking quickly I called her on it.  She said I obviously knew nothing about the account and wanted to speak to my co-owner.  I told her I run the store and she'll deal with me.  She said she would call back for the co-owner and hung up.  I hate talking with thieves!.  I'm glad I found this site & learned more about these "verifying info" calls.

Received a call from this number.  The woman did not state her name or company, asked to speak with the office manager and when I asked who was calling she stated that she was with Yellow Pages and needed to close and settle our online account from 2010.  I repeatedly told her that we did not have an account with Yellow Pages and she was rather nasty about the whole situation.  She did know our company name and address, which anyone could pull up online, and then stated she was sending this to corporate.  Terrified.  Really.

Whatever you do, do not give these people any information about your business or give an affirmative answer to any question.  I'm not certain, but they may be trying to tack on a third party charge to your phone bill.  "Cramming" is nasty business and everyone - business and residential - should take the time to call their service provider and block third party charges.

Forward a copy of that invoice to your state attorney's office and the florida state attorney and the US postal service if that is how you received the invoice. Don't bother dealing with it in any other way. Just file it and forget about it unless they pop up again. Once you get an invoice, it is mail fraud.
