I just called my girlfriend from a VOIP phone service on my iphone. Turns out thats the defult number for somebody using the program Fring, and subprogram VOIPStunt.

Got a call from # 942-587-9102, my spouse answered and the person (male) said he was my friend, and did not give a name or the purpose of his call. Don't know this person and the number is also not in my contact list

called my phone twice in a row first time got disconnected second time complete silence for 30 secs then i hung up

received call from this number, kept ringing on a sunday,very annoying

called me three times at 8:18 EST. did not answer when I picked up. no message left.

someone from this number called my husbands phone at 4am and 6am! I googled the number and found this website. My cell phone company said that we cannot block that number. I wish I could invent something to get rid of the hackers, scammers, phishers and people who choose to not make and HONEST living.

They just called my cell phone - a few minutes before, my apartment phone rang but it said "Unknown." I didn't answer either phone when they rang.

Phone rang twice, picked up, said hello twice, no answer and hung up.

This number just called my cell phone. No reply when I answered. I tried calling back on both my cell phone and landline. I got recording both times saying call can not be completed as dialed or the number has been disconnected. Internet search shows this is an area code for Canada. no US area code is 942.

Just spoke with my sister (an executive with a major phone company) she said not to answer any unknown phone numbers. There have been alot of notices of the discovery of how to pass a virus (like a computer virus) through phones now. don't know if this is true or not, but I'm not taking chances!

They called while I was away from my cell phone.
They left no message, only the number on my caller ID.
When I returned the call, I got a recording.
When I searched the number I got this page.
Now I am glad I was not near the phone when they called.
