Caller claims he represents a Microsoft Windows Service company
and that there is something wrong with my computer...

somebody needs to kill these people who call about your computer. They are preying on people who do not understand computers.  We harrass them real bad when they call.

Rang into message machine, someone on the other end said HELLO, but hung up.

Left a message on cell phone, but could not understand a word he said. Was not talking English.

Called this evening but I did not answer, after reading these posts.   Thanks everyone!

I got the same thing and kept telling him uh huh....then when he asked me how many number of errors i saw , i told him 911...oh no he said should be no more than like 5...to which i replied  uh huh

Let the ans machine ans call...hung up once the figured it out.  These people suck!!!

Called this evening. Heavy accent. Kept wanting me to get on my computer. When I looked up this company name and number I saw it was a scam. Pointed it out to him and told him to remove me from his call list. He got belligerent and wanted to know if I was asking him or ordering him. Started getting loud. Finally hung up and reported this to FBI Internet Crimes.

called 10/18/14 4:51pm PDT. Bad English. Rude when I asked him to remove my number from call list. Definitely a scammer.

Some Punjab in bad English asked for someone we do not know and said in broken English - "there is a  problem with your computer mum.
I asked him what computer, what brand.
He said all computers, its a problem with windows.
I asked what windows, windows 8, 7, xp, 98, 95
All windows, mum.
I said ok, then its not my problem
but yes, yes
NO!!! I have an Apple computer Mr. Scammer.
He hung up.

And most the numbers these scammers use are anonymous Google numbers which area code is in California, where Google is, but they could be calling from India or Jamaica most popular scamming countries.
The problem is anyone can get a Google phone number.

On my cell this is # that appeared as miss call. Doesn't match any if my number contacts. Had a coincidental 'street photography' shoot and posted it... Older guy in long black coat wit hat starring me down... Very unsettling.... Then this missed call???

received 3 calls from this Indian accented guy. Said he works for Wiz Tech which is in Wisconsin. I called Wiz Tech & they told me they have received other calls from people about this. He does not work for them. She said he has 3 different numbers. The other # 981-265-6482. This is a total scam. Going to report to FBI Internet Crime division. Most likely a waste of my time but I'll try. So far blocked both numbers waiting for 3rd call.

This is the second time I have received such a call and they always say my computer is about to crash.  When I ask which one this person who is almost impossible to understand tell me all of them. Very annoying and no way to stop them.

Had 3 more calls from this number today - same as the other reports I read here - they have been harassing me for about 18 months - how do I report them to the FBI - they have used more than 10 different numbers on my house phone & cell phone

Said that he was partnered with Microsoft and needed to fix my computer.  Computer does not not need repair. Tried to convince me otherwise. Would not say who he worked for.  Heavy accent !!!!
