- wild bobsomeone called me today from this number but seconds after I picked up the phone they hung up.
- CJJI received a call from this number with no one on the other end then it just hangs up. I googled it and found this site...unreal what everyone has been experiencing! I suggest to everyone that you place your phone number on the registry at www.donotcall.gov. This includes both home and cell phone numbers. It has cut down the telemarketers 99% for me. Also, once your number(s) have been registered for 30 days, you can file a complaint on the same website. I have filed two complaints so far for two other numbers and since I did, I haven't received any further calls so that tells me they are taking the complaints seriously. I am going to file a complaint about this one right now. Best of luck to you all!!!!
- j replies to Fed Upget a life
- Jno message, but supposedly number is disconnected or no longer in service
- Annyoedthey called me and I have no idea who they are they seemed like a telemaketer but then said that they were calling about a computer problem. Nothing is wrong with ym computer nothing is going wrong and its weird. I just want to know who's calling i know it's not comcast (my internet runs through t=comcast) because of the caller ID.
- BillyThey called and tried to sell me it support. They are probably from another country. Lets get together and file a class action lawsuit against these [***].

- a1013Got a call from this number just a few minutes ago. Most def from middle east. Barely could understand him. Said they were some computer something or other (that it had to do with my windows and internet) and wasn't I sitting in front of my computer right now (which I was, which made me real leary of this guy) so that I could tell them if I had any unwanted pop ups, etc on my computer. I told them it didn't matter if I was sitting in front of my computer or not but to remove my number from their list (had to tell him this twice). Also asked was he trying to sell me something, (Ohh no no no, ma'am, not trying to sell you anything)
- Caller: Out of area
- BillThese guys are frauds. If you are annoyed by them, use the *57 Phone Trace feature. After several calls, you can report it to the police and request charges be filed. They're not local to most people, but if enough people complain... wham!! They'll get their just desserts.
- Caller: Camel Talkers
- JTCalled me lastnight claiming to be from supportonclick and that I had viruses and was I sitting in front of the computer blah blah blah....I hung up and tried calling the number but its not in service..then I googled the number and its amazing the things that pop up with this number..I filed a complaint with the FCC.
- RuthSame as several others . . . the middle eastern accent- very heavy- said he was from tech support and wanted to help with my problem. He called me by name; when I aksed his name he said something like Marshall and that he was from computer support. I told him I did not have a problem; he repeated that was my computer running slow. I said I didn't have a problem and then hung up. I, too, will file a complaint!

When I used the caller ID to return the call I received a "This number is not in service" recording. I filed a complaint! - Not HappyReceived the same type of call. Called us by name and asked about any computer problems we are expirencing. I could hear an echo of my voice so I'm hoping they aren't recording answers to questions to use in some type of scam.
- carteranHe call my husband this morning to say that our computer has a problem. and is not true
- EliasMy parents received a call from this number back in August. They are seniors and were taking a nap. Apparently they thought the call was legit and let them on their computer. Well I found out what had happened and had a good friend who does IT stuff he found they in-beded a keystroke logger on the computer allowing them to steal passwords well basically my parents identity. Luckily they didn't give them payment information when they asked for it and we found out about before they got any information. Well month goes by and the same guy calls us three times in one day. I called the phone company and they are charging us 3.50 a month to get the call blocker service, any one else think that is completely messed up?
- candiThey called me today. Sounded middle eastern. Wanted to know if there was an issue with my computer, because he was from tech support. ANd i was like nope its fine. ANd he insisted I had a problem and I insisted I didnt and then he became Irate and was like You no know what you talk about let me talk to your parents. THen he asked my mom if there was a problem with our computer and she was like as my daughter already answered its fine, so he asked again and then she said ITS FINE and he said she no know she just a child. Then my mom started yelling at them and hung up.
- chevysame thing here. You figure after all these calls they would have shut this guy down or done something about this considering the calls go back so many months. Every wish you had the money for the technology to figure out who they were.

- lolaSame thing as everybody else: pick up phone, saying hello, hello at first to dead air and no response, then hear connection switch, very brief burst of music, then a guy with Middle Eastern or East Indian accent asking for me by name. I say it's me, he then says I am. Forget his name, but it was a very Western name, not what I would bet this guys's name is. Says he is calling about your computer problem.
We had a call from this number last week, did not pick up and were suspicious, so I checked the number then and found all this info. So immediately I realized that this was that number and caller that everybody else was complaining about and that called about a week ago not leaving a message.
I immediately said the guy, oh no, I am not talking to you, this is a scam, and you better not call here again, and I am hanging up. As I am starting to do just that I can hear him start yelliing something like "oh, so you think this is a scam, that is ridiculous!". By that time phone was hung up and then I was coming back to this site.
Acting on advice of previous commenter we did the *57 to initiate the trace. We are, needless to say, already on the DO NOT CALL list. We get so many b.s. calls, including from people who are collectors for people with same last name as us but not first names and we don't have any relatives by that name. We tell them they are calling wrong people but they just keep calling every few days or weeks.
We have repeatedly have to report those lazy collectors who won't stop callin to the State AG to get them to stop.
It really ticks me off that none of these things: Do Not Call List, FDCPA, etc, none of them really help when people like this start calling. There needs to be a way for people to completely block these nuisance calls and we shouldn't have to pay extra to the phone company to do it.- Caller: claims to be computer tech support
- landsharkJust got a call. I answered and there was no one there. I am on the do not call list. I don't know why I signed up I still get a ton of these calls

- Etch A. SketchTheir number is 1-800-698-9034
MESS WITH THEM!!! So much fun !
These annoying people are "supportonclick", an Indian phone support company that will "fix" your computer for a small fee.
I used the number someone posted on another site to call them just for fun.
800-698-9034
I told them my "laptop" wouldn't erase. He asked alot of questions about my "laptop". I told him it was red, has two white knobs and usually you erase it by shaking it upsidedown. He worked diligently by phone to help reboot or power cycle my "laptop". When he couldn't talk me through finding the power switch or keyboard, he asked me what brand of laptop it is. I told him it is an Etch-A-Sketch. He said he had never heard of the Etch-A-Sketch brand of laptop. He thought maybe it was a specialized graphics tablet of some kind.
I can't wait till they call back again. Too much fun. - DaveI was literally just reading about a shootout between cops and a terrorist leader in Michigan, and then got a call from this number, which has a Michigan area code and is operated by what people are saying here is a man with a thick foreign accent? I don't want to jump to conclusions, especially because I think accents are pretty cool, but wanted to report that it just happened to me and no one spoke, just the click of the immediate hang up.
