This is a spoof number. Do not answer or they will keep calling you. Scammers...

spam caller from 949 111 7676  they claim my computer reported a virus to them and a Microsoft technician wanted me to do something to my computer.  Right, and I'm Bill Gates.

Caller. Stated he is with Microsoft  &  they were getting a signal from my computer that something is wrong with it...I informed the caller I did not Have a computer... get quickly hung up...

Saying from Microsoft claiming my computer is having problems. And to press 1 to talk to a tech.

949-111-7676 pure scam all they want you to do check your computer by there method and then tell you they can clean it for a fee THEY ARE NOT MICROSOFT

11 949  111 7676. Caller did  NOT live a message. Those subjects should be considered Terrorists, their calls produce anger and  the system who aprove this kind of calls can Not be trusted as this system does NOTHING !!! to stop harrasing the normal people. Corrupted Systems produce terrorists like those phone callers.

Some mumbling woman was already talking when the answering machine message finished.  All I got out of it was something about Microsoft. She repeated the same message twice but for the life of me I couldn't understand anything but Microsoft. This woman has incredibly poor diction. I am also currently being a scam target for the Indians who want to "repair" my computer so am aware of the Microsoft scam.  This woman didn't strike me as being associated with the Indians. A newby, an entrepreneur so to speak.

Caller ID name read "CALIFORNIA CALL".   I blocked future calls from this number without bothering to answer this one.      

FYI -- This is one of many numbers being used for this scam.   If you must answer the call, don't do anything they ask as that will result in giving them access to any information on your computer, including financial information and/or they will make the computer unusable, demand a fee to fix it, not fix it, and then you will probably end up paying somebody else to fix it.

I have gotten several calls from this number and answered only because I was on a phone with no caller ID. They claim to be from Microsoft and that I have an issue with my computer. That is all I let them get out before I hung up on them.

Why doesn't the do not call registry work???

I have gotten several calls from this number 949 111 7676.  Yesterday a man and tonight a woman.  Both said they were from Microsoft and they were getting notices of a hacker on my system.  I had my computer cleaned of any potential viruses and malware so I know they are bogus.  Tonight I said that I would report her if she didn't stop calling.  She said "how can you report me--I'm not going to stop calling you".  How do I block calls on a land line?

computer tech support doesn't call you ever unless you set up a call back from them. your biz i.t. department might call you if your messing with things you shouldn't or they're doing an update to your system.
