The nerve on these "scammers" and hard-up losers, calling me on a "DO NOT CALL LIST" phone number which I registered at least two (2) years ago, thus, it tells me 100% that these are criminals as well!  Calling me on the 8th of Sept., and not only once....but get this: "a total of three (3) times" in the row!  What would that tell anyone who is "normal" and is tired of putting-up with these jokers!!!!

I called the number back and the machine picked up, it said "Reservation line" sounded like a travel agency of some kind. That was only open from 2pm-9pm Tues-Sat.  Telemarketers for sure.

Thank goodness I missed this call...would have wasted limited talk minutes for nothing. If it was someone who truely needed to contact me, they would have left a message on my voicemail. Did a quick search of this number online and found this 800notes bulletin board. Thanks to everyone who left a comment and pointed out telemarket/scams are at work.

Some c - - t  called my wife on her cell phone from this #, & said she (my wife) had won a trip.  After a long schpiel, my wife said she wasn't interested.  The woman then said, in the same phony, sales-pitch voice, "[***] you", and hung up.  When I called back to let them have a bigger dose of their own medicine, I got a recording, thanking me for calling there "reservation center" & telling me to leave a message.  Then it told that the messages were full, so I couldn't even leave a duly deserved message.

that number is the police trying to meet up with whoever called from whatever number they are currently calling I know because I had to report my piece of [***] x for stealing my [***] purse and when they called to tell me what location they were at

Called me and didn't leave a message.  I called back and got an answering machine.  Some BS travel agency/reservation line.  

put on "do not call list over 3 years ago, telemarketer doesn't care/ hangs up.  So much for a do not call list!

It's not the "LIST".  It is those who violate it.   It is just a list.  Like any law,  there are those who don't care.  Legitimate and credible businesses do honor it.

Rang my cell, wasn't in my contact list so I didn't answer it.  For these type of calls, I just add it to a 'spam' contact I created which has no ring tone.   Thanks to those who did answer it and let me know it was spam.

I'm from the region in orange county with the 949 area code, however I've been in Spain for the last 3 months.  I have a different cell phone here that has the Spanish country code and everything, and I haven't given the number to any of my friends in the United States.  So you can imagine my confusion when I got a call from this number to my Spanish cell phone...
It was too loud in the bar I was at to hear what they were saying so until I found this webpage I didn't know who had tried to call me.

Its not the police.  Try again.  Are you just trying to scare people.

We are on a do not call list. This number calls and wakes up the babies EVERY SINGLE DAY.  They are relentless. We've tried EVERYTHING to get them to stop. Evidently they are looking for someone who had our cell phone number previously. They don't care... they keep calling DAILY!!!!!!

This company comes from California and they are trying to sell weight loss products.

Yes I called them back and told them not to call me back and they just did, so annoying I told them I was at work and the are disturbing Me, take me off the the Lists....

They keep calling after I spoke withe someone, trying to sell a weight loss product, I told them not to call me back that I was at work at 1:12 and to take my number off the lists then they just called back at 3:00.

I answered this call and told them there was something wrong with thier computer and I was the computer investigation unit and my name is Ranjeet Ranjeet. I had the dumb b.. going for awhile. I told her the Russians were hacking their system as we were speaking, and she would be in trouble if she just let it happen. It was funny for awhile.
