1st call from this #.  Didn't answer, no VM.  I agree with Sickofit!  If people weren't such suckers, this kind of crap calling wouldn't go on!

Just called, I didn't answer.  Blocking!

Unfortunately, the elderly and housebound infirm 'fall' for it as they are often lonely, isolated with no one to 'consult' about things, and not not thinking clearly, often to the point of beginning dementia. Many are in chronic pain.  They often do not have Caller ID (my 88 year old mother REFUSES to spend the money on it, even though she can afford it) and do not understand technology or the sophistication of today's international criminals.  They are trusting and looking for someone to talk to; someone to listen to them and to empathize with them and their pain.  In a word, The Vulnerable.  Its very sad.

BTW, I got this call at 9:37A today, myself.  Didn't answer.  Caller ID said "SVC" and in the past it was the pain creme scam, but came here just to check which scam it was today.  Curiosity satisfied.  Next stop, DNC complaint.

Caller ID listed it as: Cell Phone CA. I did not answer and no message was left.

Pain medication scam. And they keep calling with different numbers.

Called my landline today 9:40AM and didn't leave a message.  However, I've drawn out our voice greeting so that it talks over a good bit of robo messages.  My voice mail registered that a message was left, but I didn't hear any, and can't say whether a live person made the call and hung in there waiting for a miracle, i.e., someone to pick up (never!).  Caller ID reads, "SVC".  

"Hello.  DO NOT hang up.  This is not a sales call."  Pain Creme liars!!!!

Calls daily and leaves a message.  On do not call list.  UGH!

Get calls from this number almost every day ... shows up as SVC .. If you answer and listen to the message you have a couple of choices .. Press 1 or 5 .. I didn't like either one of the choices, was hoping to get a choice that would tell them to leave me alone !!! There has to be a way to make this go away ... I do have a call block feature on my handset I might try that and hope they don't call from a different number ... Anyway good luck to everyone ...

Called me at 12 noon. Did not answer. No message left on my voicemail. I blocked it. Unfortunately, Savvy is right. These wretched peopleprey onthe most vulnerable... The elderly. The even bigger problem is that there's a somewhat newer technology that allows them to "spoof" phone numbers, meaning they can call from another country and fool your caller ID into showing what looks like a US area code and number and there's no way for the folks at the DNC list to track them. Then, once they've realized that the majority have started blocking that particular number, they just start using a new one. It honestly doesn't get much lower on the dirtbag scale. The best we can do is warn our elderly loved ones who do have caller ID, not to answer calls from any numbers they don't recognize and try to convince the hold-outs like Savvy's dear mother to add caller ID to their phone services... even if it means paying for it for them. It's a small price to pay when a loved one's life savings are at risk. Just my humble opinion...

received call from "SVC" 1-949-256-6278 .  Did not answer it, they hung up after listening to my answering machine pick up.  I  blocked after reading these other reports here.

The spammers called half-an hour after another phone scammer from CA. I'm sick of these jerks.

We received a call today (9/9/14) at 2:00 p.m.; caller ID displayed: "Cell Phone CA".  Since we don't know anyone in CA, we let the answering machine pick up the call, and no message was left.  We presume it was a sales call, even though we're on the DNC registry; unfortunately, the scammers seem to have a multitude of ways of working around that!  

Called today at 9:45 am. SVC is on Caller ID, so I knew it was the pain cream scammers with another new number. I'm still not buying!

I'm sick of these calls.  I am on the no call list.  

I get the same on my caller ID, SVC. They are pushing illegal medications.

I got at least 5 calls about this crap cream - all from different numbers!! I am blocking each number, as I receive the calls, but it seems these crooks are getting bolder and bolder. Once they know your number, they will keep calling you. I place complaint on DMC website every time, I get the new call from this trash. But I rather doubt anything will be done any time soon. Sounds like DNC list is just another scam ( paid by your tax money, by the way)
